“The fat & beautiful lady [I forgot to ask her name and may be she is the owner of the hostal(it is because she is sitting at the reception daily)] of the Hostal is wonderful and helpful, she helped us to arrange the tours to Sierra Negra Volcano and Los Tunneles (both was excellent) in a short while. Moreover, she always remind us to take the necessary accessories for the tours and arrange the delicious breakfast(wonderful omelette, 3 kinds of fresh fruits, cereals with yoghut, meat, cheese,……

“We had a lovely night stay here. You’re on an island so some ants and bugs can be expected. This isn’t The Four Seasons so if you were looking for that you would be disappointed. What you will find staff willing to go above and beyond like Jonathan, who made our stay lovely. Love that you could just walk to the beach right behind the property. The peace and tranquillity you will find here is unmatched. I think this is the best place to stay on the island. We will definitely be returning. ”

“Wonderful! Elizabeth and their family were so kind, the homemade breakfasts in the center garden were lovely. Don't come here expecting hotel branded, plastic wrapped, toiletries with items to buy- remember why you came to visit the island. Simple, minimal, needs met with fridge, air conditioning, private room and bathroom, with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Loved my stay!!!”

“We loved our stay here. It is on the edge of the small town, but easily walkable to everything including a sunset bar that was awesome. I assume it was not coincidentally named Iguana Crossing, but it is literally located at a point where iguana after iguana cross the road. The views from our room and the pool were unbelievable and the wildlife that literally walks in the lobby is amazing. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.”

“We had a wonderful time! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we also enjoyed an amazing dinner during our stay. The cocktails were delicious and perfectly made. The staff provided excellent recommendations for things to do on Isabela Island, which really enhanced our experience. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality. “Lovely place right on the beach. Great location, walking distance form lots of restaurants and shops. Not that far from pier, like 20 min walk. Staff super nice and helpful. Proactively reached out to us to make sure we had breakfast either in their terrace or giving us a to-go bag. I’d definitely will stay here again. ”

“They claimed Expedia did not let them know we were coming. No rooms for us on a trip of a lifetime. On an island in a foreign country at dusk with no place to stay. Not sure if it was the hotel or Expedia that made the error. ”

“Really nice place to stay, very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The food was excellent. Good advice and booking for tours. Location is a short walk from main centre, a few mins, but that makes it nice and quiet. Close to harbour so easy access from ferry.”
