Room was very clean and comfortable. There were multiple restaurants and pool we could access. Despite that, we didn’t felt that there was much difference among them. The beach was beautiful but it was windy. Entertainment was very good. We had possibility through our package to have concierge service and we highly recommend Rafael that was very helpful in various occasions. Overall experience was good!

We booked this last minute and did not know much about the hotel or the facilities, other than what was on Expedia. Our flight was late and we got in late to the resort. Being upgraded to the Family Select area was a nice welcome and as our 5-day stay progressed, we realized how much of a bonus this actually was. Access to Rafael, the butler, was amazing. He was able to book us better times for each of our dinners than we were able to get on our own. He also managed to get my wife a massage when the Spa was booked up. Each day he checked in on us and was very attentive. The Family Selection rooms are each part of an 8 room/apartment Villa. They are modern and spacious and set in well-kept grounds. The family select area also has its own pool with a bar and plenty of loungers and cabannas. There were always free ones, no matter what time you went. At the other pools, and the beach, loungers get taken very early. The food was good and plentiful, both buffets and a la carte restaurants. The only disappointment was La Lola, the Spanish restaurant. Service was slow and the food was not very good, which was a shame, especially as the hotel chain is Spanish-owned. The beach is great and good for swimming. Our snorkelling excursion (from Bolin Dive, the company that is based on the beach in front of the hotel) was well run and great fun. There are also tennis courts, basketball courts, and a large turf soccer field that we played on. We would definitely go again.

The facility itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with an atmosphere that seems particularly suited for an older crowd. The staff members were very kind, professional, and attentive throughout our time there, which we truly appreciated. However, despite the positive aspects of the environment and service, our overall experience as guests of color was uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we often felt out of place and as though we did not fully belong in that space. While the property and staff have many admirable qualities, based on our personal experience, I would not recommend it for people of color visiting as guests. Also, it’s boring if you’re young and the food is not the best!

Had a rough start on a 7 day stay.. water leak the first night, resulting in moving us to a better room. The second room had its own challenge, which was rectified... over all first two days were really rough. The staff was highly responsive and were apologetic for the inconvenience. They made it up by offering free Spa treatments. Over all pretty good facilities, excellent and clean beach, all-inclusive had good variety for breakfast and lunch buffets. Dinner options included both buffet and multiple restaurant options (not all restaurants were good). Over all a good resort if considering all-inclusive option. I Recommend it!!

Our stay at the resort was absolutely unforgettable, and a huge part of that experience was our incredible butler, Rafael. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Rafael helped coordinate reservations, made sure our room and beach setup were exactly how we liked them, and checked in regularly to ensure we were enjoying every moment of our stay. Staff was amazing. Special shout to Juan Jalpay. He did fantastic job taking care of all our needs during our stay. He was very friendly and quick to respond. He never disappointed us and he made our time at Grand Palladium Select Bavaro more enjoyable.
