LOCATION:
Villa La Palapa is located at the exclusive Puntacana Resort & Club in Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic. The villa is located at La Cana golf course (Hacienda).

The resort is home to 2 oceanside golf courses (Corales by Tom Fazio and La Cana by P.B. Dye), luxury hotels, The Spa, the Oscar de la Rental tennis center (tennis, paddle, and pickleball courts), an equestrian center & polo club, pristine beaches and beach clubs, nature trails and freshwater lagoons, fantastic restaurants, and more. If you want to go off property to explore the local area, the Puntacana Shopping Village and Blue Mall Puntacana are located just outside the resort.
Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) is located right next to the resort - 1 kilometer or less than 1 mile from the resort’s entrance, and Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) is about a 3-hour drive away.
NOTE: You’ll have two golf touring carts included with the villa rental for transportation around the resort.
THE SPACE:
Villa La Palapa is a contemporary, 5-bedroom, 5 1/2 bath, 8,000 sq. ft., 2-story villa with a private backyard, lawn area, pool, and basketball half-court.
Blending European elegance with Caribbean flair, the contemporary design of this villa creates a delightful indoor-outdoor living experience. Stepping through the expansive front door, you're greeted with a warm and inviting tropical ambiance.
La Palapa is centered around a stunning garden, complete with palm trees and white stone pathways, creating a serene and Zen-like atmosphere. The villa's open design flows seamlessly from the front entrance to the spacious terrace, pool area, and garden. The terrace and garden provide an expansive area ideal for lounging, dining, relaxing, and entertaining.
Tucked neatly on one side of the villa, you’ll find an outdoor basketball half-court with one hoop. The backyard offers a great green oasis with a lawn, trees, and palm trees. If you’re traveling with children, this is a great and comfortable place for them to play.
The living room is a beautiful space with floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable sofas, chairs, a TV, assorted books, air-conditioning, and ceiling fan. The dining room is located right next to the kitchen and features a large dining table where you can enjoy your meals with a view of the pool and backyard. If you prefer to dine outdoors, the villa also has a nice outdoor dining area on the covered terrace.
The modern kitchen with an island is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your vacation. You can also hire a professional chef if you don’t want to cook during your vacation ($).

THE BEDROOMS:
VILLA NAME has 5 bedrooms, including a fantastic primary suite with a balcony. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs.
Bedroom 1 (upstairs): The primary bedroom with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, closet, ensuite bathroom with shower and tub, and a private balcony overlooking the pool/backyard/golf course.
Bedroom 2 (upstairs) with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, a desk and chair, closet, and ensuite bathroom with shower.
Bedroom 3 (upstairs) with 2 Queen beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, closet, and ensuite bathroom with shower.
Bedroom 4 (downstairs) with 1 Queen bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, closet, ensuite bathroom with shower, and a private terrace.
Bedroom 5 (downstairs) with 4 Twin beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, closet, desk and chairs, and ensuite bathroom with shower.

VILLA STAFF:
Butler: The Spanish-speaking butler can serve drinks, and food, and generally helps around the house. The butler may reside on the property in a separate living area.
Housekeeper: The Spanish-speaking housekeeper will clean the villa, make the beds, and wash towels and linens (usually every 3rd day). We do not offer personal laundry service. The housekeeper may reside on the property in a separate living area.
Villa Manager: You’ll also have an English/Spanish-speaking villa manager available during your stay. This is your go-to person for any questions or if you need any services that you haven’t booked before your arrival. The villa manager will greet you when you arrive at the villa, check you in, and will be available daily throughout your entire stay.
