Really great stay at Ocean El Faro! The place is huge with so many facilities, room was amazing with rooftop spa. Added bonus of having Jose our butler to help with anything. He was so attentive and booked all our restaurant reservations, kept in touch a couple of times a day which was a nice touch. Food was great, the buffet was exceptional, close second was the Italian. Would recommend this hotel as plenty for both adults and children.

My family and I went to Ocean El Faro. Our vacation was spectacular. In large part to one man Jose Jimenez. I never knew a vacation could go so smooth. Dinner reservations water in the fridge he made sure we had no worries. Our day always started with seeing Jose while walking to breakfast with a good morning is there anything you guys need to make your day great. In a week he knew all about our family and we learned a lot about his. When we plan our next trip to Ocean El Faro in January we'll make sure Jose is still be there..

Ths entertainment is very good here. Food options are limited. The main buffet is very unorganized staff seems to be all over the place and has no particular station. Beautiful property and the frounds were clean. Some buildings beeds to be repainted. The rooms appearance leaves much to be desired. Maintenance needs to do some serious work .

Este hotel fue encantador. El servicio del personal de administración, seguridad, transportación, meseros y bartender fue de excelencia. Siempre atentos y muy amables. Pero sobre todo nos encantó el servicio y trato del mayordomo Carlos Enrique Buayone. Sumamente diligente, no importaba la hora estaba disponible para ayudarnos y muy amable. Nos hizo sentir en familia. Mi única recomendación es que deben mejorar el equipo de animación y realizar más actividades. ¡Esperamos volver pronto!

The resort was very nice, clean and felt safe to walk around. Everything was easy to get to, as the distances between the living quarters and the restaurants and the pools were small. The staff were mostly pleasant, but on occasions, there were times when we would ask for support from them and they either were unable to help, or unable to understand what we needed. However, this didn’t make a huge difference to our overall stay. If I had to make any suggestions for improvements, I would say that more regular pool cleanings would make for a more visual pleasant environment!

This property does not deserve a 5-star rating. Upon entering our room, we were met with an absolutely unpleasant odor that turned out to be feces smeared on the floor. It's unacceptable that the cleaning staff could overlook such a serious issue! After we reported this to the front desk—both by phone and in person—it took over an hour for them to address the situation. Frankly, the condition of the resort is shocking, especially considering it's fairly new. The resort felt empty and lifeless, with no entertainment by the pool. Additionally, the furnishings around the pool were in a shabby state, and to top it all off, we discovered a roach in our room. Concerned for our health and safety, we chose to check out and find alternate accommodtions. Staying at this resort would have completely ruined our long-awaited vacation!

Carlos Carter was amazing and very helpful but unfortunately the property was dirty, not well maintained and the staff were very rude and unprofessional. My bed sheets had mold on them, the mattress had holes and the tub had green rust all around.

Loved the lazy river. Understaffed. Food subpar. Not a lot of structured activities. Waited a long time for drinks. Room smelled like mold and had to use dehumidifier that we dumped every two hours.

El trato.de Carlos Enrique fue excelente , hizo de nuestro viaje uno magico y nos complacio en todo. Haciendo de nuestras vacaciones unas mas que excelente. Sin duda alguna volveriamos por que el lugar es uno de calidad. Siempre y cuando este Carlos Enrique, quien manejo nuestro grupo de 19 personas, a perfeccion.
