First things first! My Concierge, Adriel Cabrera, is a top notch guy. Helpful in literally every aspect. The resort is immaculate. My wife and I walked the beach which goes in front of several other properties. Paradisus by far had the best kept stretch, and the largest seating area. Our beachfront room on the reserve side was beautiful and our son’s room over the main pool was freshly updated and beautiful. Plenty of room to spread out on the large campus. Nightly entertainment and good food everywhere.

Our stay at Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana definitely lived up to its name - a literal slice of Paradise! Both the property and the setting are stunning - with a luxury view, luxury finishes and a luxury vibe, yet relaxed and welcoming at the same time. Clean everywhere but the best part of my stay was the attention of the bartenders. Unfortunately, i cant mention their names, but I will be sure to send an email so they get the credit they deserve. They ensured me and my wife were always happy. Great people with great positive attitudes everyday.

We had a wonderful time at Paradisus Hotel. Upon arrival we were welcomed by our concierge, Alam who was excellent. He took great care of us, helping to reserve restaurants and checking in to ensure our stay was pleasant. At the end of our stay Alam made sure our bags were picked up from our room and he was waiting at the lobby to bid us farewell which was a nice touch. The resort itself is beautiful with plenty of pools and beach front. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. We stayed in the Reserve area which offered some extra perks. We also got a couples massage which was wonderful. There was nightly entertainment which was excellent (much better than many other resorts we have stayed at) There were lots of food options from buffets to à la carte, snack and coffee bars and lots of ice cream - the food was decent. Some constructive feedback- the service at the buffet and restaurants was not great - simple things like filling our water or bringing us coffee seemed like an ongoing challenge but Eventually we did get what we had asked for. Also on the first few days, it was challenging to get any beach towels. This was due primarily to some guests taking 3-4 towels each which seems rather excessive. While I don’t blame the hotel for guest behaviour, I do think they could implement a better system to avoid this. Overall our stay was great and we would consider staying at this resort again in the future.

Disappointing Experience — Reserve Upgrade Not Worth It Where do I even begin. I am genuinely confused as to how this resort has received such glowing reviews, with “lackluster” being the most consistent theme throughout my stay. Despite my room being ready, I waited nearly an hour in the Reserve lobby while the front desk agent assisted multiple other guests. The check in experience set the tone for what was to come. The Kanna / private members-only area is visually appealing, but unfortunately it highlights how underwhelming the rest of the property is by comparison. I paid $575 to upgrade to The Reserve, and upon arrival, seriously considered leaving altogether. My first experience with a Reserve-only restaurant was shockingly bad. The host appeared visibly annoyed by my presence, and after being seated, no one approached me for an extended period of time. The food was genuinely inedible. I initially tried the buffet, couldn’t stomach anything, and then ordered from the menu hoping for improvement. It wasn’t. The salad was soggy and unappetizing, and the gazpacho was equally unpleasant. The two Reserve-only pools were extremely secluded and had no bar service, which made the upgrade feel pointless. Ironically, the large adults-only pool with a swim-up bar was accessible without any Reserve upgrade and was far superior. After exploring the property, I immediately returned to the Reserve lobby to ask about a refund and potentially changing resorts. While the hotel did agree

We had a great time, but it wasn’t without some issues. We were there for a girl’s trip and had requested a room with two beds. We were given one king bed and they said they didn’t have a room with two beds to accommodate us although it didn’t seem like the resort was at full capacity. The front desk said they would send an extra bed which they did not. After we gave up on that, it took four phone calls and a walk to the front desk to get bedding for the pull out sofa. Also, the app never worked for us with our reservation information. Lastly, as an Expedia booking, we were supposed to get a bottle of wine and welcome amenities which we didn’t receive. The service is very hit or miss here. The entertainment is also minimal and we had no idea what the schedule was since the app didn’t work. There was also no waiter service around the pool or beach. As for the great stuff, the resort and the beach are well kept and clean. The beach and the chair selection was great. The food at the buffet was very good as were the Mexican and Steakhouse restaurants. We didn’t have an issue with reservations, but the day we arrived they were full. After that, as long as you book a day in advance there were options. Overall, the food and beach are great and if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere and are good on your own to figure everything out, this place is great. If you are looking for great service, this may not be the place for you.

This is a beautiful resort! The staff is very friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the pools and sun decks were plentiful. Overall, a great vacation. My only suggestion is to update the cardio equipment in the fitness room. The treadmills are very old and stop frequently. The spin bikes are also well worn and do not have much resistance. Otherwise, a fabulous trip!

I booked this trip with my daughter for a quick getaway and booked a junior swim up suite for 4 nights through Expedia. Words cannot describe how frustrated I am with our experience. We took the first flight out of our hometown airport hoping to spend the entire first afternoon in the sun. That did not happen because our room was supposed to be ready no later than 3pm the day of check in. We got the run around after I refused to take two twin beds that we were being offered by the front desk so I feel like I was “black listed” by the front desk team as a result. It took hours to get our room despite having a butler (whom was not able to effectively execute on any request I had for her). It wasn’t until a concierge manager noticed us waiting in the lobby and commented how long we were waiting did we get our room. He took matters into his own hands and personally walked us to our room and I was so grateful. He apologized for the room check in issues but I got no real explanation as to what happened. As an Expedia member I was told early check in would be an option- again didn’t happen for us. My room wasn’t cleaned for two days and I was told it was as because I didn’t ask for it to be cleaned by pushing the button near the front door. Had my check in experience been handled properly I would have known this button needed to be switched on. The front desk team continued to be an issue during my entire trip.

The swimming pool was lap awesome. Never crowded - I think I swam about 3 miles during my stay. Food was B / B-. Dinner Restaurant booking was ridiculous using 2 kiosks - and not off an app. We went to town and enjoyed. Summary - Xmas gala dinner was not good. Japanese was not good. Italian was ok. Mexican was < ok. We asked for the hair dryer first day. It never showed - and we requested everyday for 5 days. Each time they said 5 minutes. Hm. You should all pack one ! But our kids enjoyed - the beach the pool and activities.
