Es lo que pagas, no es lujo pero hay algo que hacer todo el tiempo, el bar de la alberca es divertida solo a veces es algo molesto que toda la gente pone sus bocinas entonces estas escuchando todo el tiempo musica mezclada. Es un buen hotel si lo que quieres es no hacer nada y no salir de tu hotel ya que tienes todo lo que necesitas para relajarte ahi.

The rooms were not very good; there weren’t enough outlets. Some weren’t working, and it wasn’t very clean. We didn’t get full sheets. Only a blanket was provided. The food was terrible. I’ve been to an all-inclusive resort in the DR, and I understand buffet food. It’s not going to be the best, but some of the food was actually terrible, and I’m not a picky eater. The only good thing about the resort with the staff was very nice and the beach was beautiful. But I would choose a different resort 100%.

I had fun. BUT The property was beautiful, Beach amazing no Umbrellas at Beach, Many pools, swim up bar a sess pool of people most likely peeing in pool. The property always smelled like sewer water, Elevators you had to hold your nose. 1st day I got there the toilets did not work. We had two rooms. My room slept three people and beds were 2 singles- we had to put them together and share, Couch you could not sleep on too small. The other room we had air conditioner did not work and had to move rooms and they did not clean room 3 days. We had to keep asking for towels and they never filled our fridge had to keep asking. Then the entire hotel had an issue with water and no warning that there was not cold water and shower what Scolding. You could not take shower for 2days no toilets you had to find area with water to flush toilets. Bed bug bites. Noisy hotel at night people walking around banging on all the doors. Also cleaning people were so loud and noisy in the morning absolutely no respect for people that are sleeping at 7am in the morning. Staff was pleasant. Food was good. The Michael Jackson Show was absolutely awesome. Foam party fun as well. Neon Night. We booked this because we have been to RIU Palace in Cancun which was amazing. I would not go back to this hotel and would not recommend. Still had fun.

Bring your own towels and wash cloths besides they only give one set and you have to keep asking for more. Food was subpar and drinks were so so.also there was hair on both pillows on our bed.

One of the days we didn’t have toilet water for half a day! One day the internet and power went out! The day I left there was no cold water! This is UNACCEPTABLE for the money I paid to stay there! Every issue it was hell trying to get thru to the front desk smfh I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN😡

Don’t ever stay at RIU HOTELS, the staff are not helpful, the mattresses have mold on them in most rooms, the water pressure is terrible. The drinks are watered down, the food was the best thing I can say about the place other than that I would go stay anywhere else but that hotel chain

I’ve been traveling with my wife to all inclusives for at least 8 years and I can say this was by far the worst all inclusive hotel experiences you will have 90% of the food was uneatable it was really bad I thought the reviews were exaggerated but it is the truth the hotel room was terrible it was like a motel quality hotel room and it was out dated. The drinks were watered down even the sodas were watered down sprites and cokes. The internet in the room was out for the last 2 days no warning anything. You can’t call the front desks because the phone in the room isn’t labeled the only thing you can eat at this hotel is the jerk chicken and the omelettes for breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend this to an enemy I’m not exaggerating.

We had to switch rooms because the room that we had wasn’t the one we booked, and the room did not smell or felt clean. After we switched rooms it looked better and clean. The staff was amazing at Riu but the food was horrible it was the same meal served everyday. Overall I would rate my stay 6/10, the staff was amazing, but the food and rooms could’ve been better.

Estimados señores: Me dirijo a ustedes para presentar una queja formal sobre mi reciente estadía en sus instalaciones en Riu Republica. Este viaje tenía un significado muy especial para mí, ya que era la primera vez que visitaba el país y tenía como propósito celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposo junto a otra pareja que siempre viaja con nosotros. Lamentablemente, la experiencia estuvo muy lejos de lo esperado. Al llegar a nuestra habitación, encontramos una cucaracha, lo cual resultó sumamente desagradable. Por su parte, la habitación de nuestros acompañantes tenía el aire acondicionado dañado. Tuvimos que esperar un tiempo excesivo para que los cambiaran de habitación, y cuando finalmente lo hicieron, nos ubicaron en una zona muy distante. Para empeorar la situación, la nueva habitación tampoco contaba con agua y presentaba olores muy fuertes e incómodos. Adicionalmente, en una ocasión posterior a la limpieza de la habitación, encontramos otra cucaracha en una toalla que supuestamente estaba limpia. Esta situación es completamente inaceptable y genera serias dudas sobre las condiciones de higiene del lugar. Lamentablemente, tanto mi esposo como nuestros amigos compartimos la misma experiencia negativa, lo que arruinó por completo un viaje que debía ser especial. Espero que esta situación sea tomada con la seriedad que merece y que se tomen medidas correctivas inmediatas para evitar que otros huéspedes pasen por una experiencia similar.

La comida en los buffet tienen que mejorar la temperatura. Normalmente estaban frias. Los cuartos tienen espejos con moho y olor a humedad. El servicio fue espectacular por parte de todos los empleados.

Estuve hospedándome en el RIU Republica en Punta Cana los pasados 5 días y la experiencia no fue muy agradable. Tenía altas expectativas ya que lo mercadean como un hotel 5 estrellas y no llega ni a 3 estrellas. Con anterioridad a mi llegada, tenía varias dudas por aclarar y nunca conseguí contactarlos por teléfono. En cuanto a las facilidades del hotel, la máquina de hielo no servía, los restaurantes tenían dañados los aires acondicionados, los baños comunes estaban en pésimas condiciones, en la playa no habían sombrillas disponibles y el área se veía abandonada. Además, había peste a mangle bien desagradable por todo el hotel. En las habitaciones, no había crema, gorros de baño y el shampoo y jabón eran de muy mala calidad, hasta apestaban. El hotel no tiene actividades recreativas ni de día ni de noche. Además, la comida y las bebidas alcohólicas eran pésimas. No recomiendo este hotel a NADIE.

The resort is run down and workers informed us that it would be closed in a year. I could’ve had better quality at a motel 6. I’d rate it negative 5 stars if I could. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO STAY ON THE RESORT THE ENTIRE TIME. Staff are rude and miserable, we desperately tried to switch to a different RIU resort to no avail. No air conditioning for 3/5 days, staff lie straight to your face. This place is an absolute joke. We switched rooms 3 times. None of them were great.
