Loved the Members Club swim up bar and pool. Room was freezing and multiple requests to fix took 5 days to resolve. Weather was bad due to Hurricane Melissa. 10 day stay saw sun for 2 days at end of trip. Beautiful property except for work being done on balcony pergolas which caused saw dust on balcony and in hot tub which made it unusable. Breakfast was best meal any given day. Dinners not so much. Steak house restaurant steaks were marginal. Desserts were always good with lots of variety.

This stay was far below expectations and not what was paid for. I paid on site for the Preferred Club, yet received none of the benefits and was not even allowed to use the Preferred Club facilities. I reported this issue several times and was only told “this should not happen” — no solution, no follow-up, no compensation. I was promised that my butler would contact me, but no one ever did. To this day, I am still waiting. This felt like an empty promise just to end the complaint. For three consecutive days, no drinks were delivered to the room. I called every day and was repeatedly told “it will come shortly”, but nothing ever arrived. This level of negligence is unacceptable. The romantic in-room breakfast (heart-shaped) was also never provided, despite expectations. Additionally, the hotel was extremely overcrowded, with no available sunbeds and a chaotic atmosphere caused by poorly behaved guests. Most disturbing was that cannabis was openly smoked throughout the hotel, including common areas. As a non-consumer, this was very unpleasant and no action was taken by staff. Overall, this hotel failed to deliver on its promises. Poor service, broken commitments, and lack of management make this stay not worth the money. I would not recommend booking this hotel through Expedia.

I’m going to start my review with being totally honest-I did get super sick after eating or drinking something. But that being said, the staff was super helpful and kind to make sure I got to the medical center and was treated there. The staff of the resort go above and beyond to help and make your stay the best experience. I do wish there were more breakfast options and our bathroom needed a deep clean. I felt like it got more of a superficial clean. Those are my only two minor complaints. The rest was amazing!

Rooms need better clean ser. Preferred Club is useless scam: all true upgraded services need extra fees (drinks, pool chairs) Preferred pool areas “chairs” dis not have control so we still needed to “chase at 7 am in pijama for them”. I claimed Expedia and Hotel for money back for that fee - waiting for reply. People is the best fortunately . Web site and Expedia site MUST alert as other similar all inclusive resorts the “mood resort type” : this was like an USA resort in Punta Cana - US music all day long. We get the US market is special as EU etc etc and hotel wants to deliver a format for that high volume of customers . We leave in the US but Latin American people were looking for fun - our roots !!!! Nothing of that . We have been in other resorts and we booked understanding of quire style, matured adults style etc (in Cabo’s or Cancun etc ) . The new year eve unfortunately was not good at all …… the Country singer was great haha a perfect US singer …

Facilities were clean and well kept. Food overall was not tasty and kinda cheap. For a luxury resort , entertainment was pretty standard compared to other resorts. I expected that paying for a luxury hotel adult only, we would have better night entertainment other than one hour singing show.

Cannot say anything good or anything really bad about this property. Just OK. For the money I would’ve stayed somewhere else. The locals on the beach were so incredibly annoying. Would not leave my daughter and myself alone. My daughter actually felt scared around them. I informed Security newer times about them and they did absolutely nothing.

Third visit - same beautiful manicured area, clean, comfortable rooms, well trained staff, great food. Our butler Carlos Fabian provided an outstanding service. We have requested him after the last year visit. Polite, kind and very responsible gentleman. He was helping us even when he took a few days off. Bar tenders Frany, Rosa, Felix made any imaginable cocktail, friendly, cheerful and caring. Clara at Bordeaux restaurant, knowledgeable and elegant. Cooks at the Riviera buffet who made great dishes in front of us. Thank you all!

I celebrated my 40th birthday and loved it, staff was very efficient and friendly. Food was great, plenty of variety and found the place to be clean and very well taken care of. I highly recommend this resort.
