Loved that even though the hotel was big everything was close by. Food not the best. Entertainment team was amazing and staff were friendly.

I was not able to stay at this property because of multiple canceled flights. As this was not their fault their customer service and lack of communication was terrible! I tried calling and emailing about a late check in the next day. Got no response on the phone or via email. Our flight the next day got canceled too. I tried calling and emailing again with no response again. After many calls and emails to the resort all day I finally got a generic email back from them which was no help. I will never step foot on this property and am in awe on how bad their Customer service is. Although the canceled flights were not their fault… they could have at least picked up the phone so that I could know if this place was even real….

I had a very disappointing experience at Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort and would not recommend it.
The food quality and hygiene were extremely concerning. At the buffet, nothing seemed to be kept at proper temperature—watermelon was warm and even had an onion-like taste.
The à la carte restaurants were no better. At the Japanese restaurant, there was a cockroach on our table, and we saw oil dripping from the exhaust fan. The shrimp served to us were not properly cleaned and still had the vein in them, which was very unappetizing.
We also tried the sports bar, where we ordered fish and chips and wings, but both were undercooked. We didn’t feel safe eating them and ended up leaving. The beachside hamburger truck was no better—the burgers were barely cooked through.
The Steakhouse restaurant was the only somewhat decent option. At Olivo the chicken parmesan was dry and overly tough.
On top of the food issues, the staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, which made the experience even worse. Overall, this was one of the worst resort experiences I’ve had. I would not return or recommend this place to anyone.

We got “upgraded” to a pool room, which was nice but we did not ask for it and it ended up being an accessible room which I’m sure people that needed it would have appreciated but it made things harder for us (I’m aware how this sounds).
Room was clean, but a little outdated. The bathroom had definitely seen better days.
They did come and made the beds every day.
But they would knock on your door at 7-8a to stock your refrigerator and definitely opened the door after the second knock even though it was very clear that the chance someone was in were very high!
Food was good, great at times - but the staff were not tentative at all! I’m not asking for excellent service, but at least acknowledge that I asked for something, or like I’m not bothering you with my asks, which were VERY limited. I was surprised and very thrown off by that. This was the case at every bar, restaurant, and the buffet.
It was very hard to book a reservation at the restaurants, even tho they were mostly empty, I get managing capacity. If you got a reservation and the hostess were to sit you it was the most awkward experience as they would just start walking in front of you and you were left confused about if you should follow them or not.
I felt like it was safe in general.
Their spa services were amazing. As if you stepped into a completely different world. Highly recommend.

There needs to be a little bit more attention to detail. There were white stains on the cover of the bedsheets. There were also visible stain marks on the white towels. There were also trails of biting ants in the room that I had 6405 in the second room 6408 it had a strong mold smell and in room 6411 which was my final room of my stay. The lights in the shower were not working and was missing the makeup mirror overall, this day was just OK. It probably would have been better on the adult side also it takes maintenance and the cleaning staff hours to attend to any of your needs.

Received a few stained towels and the bed sheets were a little stained as well. The buffet food & restaurants in general could be a lot better. Overall, okay stay. Friendly staff. Received free room upgrade which was nice.

My wife, my 15-year-old daughter, and I spent a week at Serenade in the Dominican Republic. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
The Luxury Suite was the highlight of the trip. At nearly 1,100 square feet, it felt spacious and comfortable, with two full bathrooms and a large balcony, which made a big difference during our stay.
The beach was the second best aspect of the resort. It is fairly large, quiet, and well equipped with plenty of lounge chairs, making it easy to relax without feeling crowded.
In terms of layout, the resort amenities are somewhat limited. The property is essentially organized in a U-shape around multiple pools, which makes the pools the central focus of the resort experience.
Unfortunately, the food quality was disappointing overall. The Italian restaurant and the Steakhouse were the best dining options. The Sushi and Mediterranean restaurants were below expectations, although the Mediterranean venue did serve excellent grilled squid.
All in all, it was a pleasant trip to the Dominican Republic, with the suite and the beach being the standout features of the stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Serenade. Everything about the hotel was excellent — the service, the staff, the food, and the overall atmosphere were truly spectacular. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, and the resort itself is beautiful and very well maintained. It was a great experience for my family and me, and we really enjoyed our vacation there.
The only small detail was with the room assignment. In the past, when booking through Expedia, we have sometimes received a small upgrade or special consideration, which has always been a nice surprise. This time, after waiting a few hours for our room to be ready, we were given a room on the first floor with a garden view instead of the third-floor balcony room we were originally expecting. The room itself was still very nice and comfortable, so it was not a major issue at all — just something I noticed since we’ve been fortunate to receive upgrades in other hotels before.
Overall, we truly appreciated the service and had a fantastic stay. Thank you for a great vacation experience!

Nice property. Enjoyed the pools. Buffets were great and contained a lot of meat at the meals.that was a pleasant surprise. Regularly tipping pool attendants got me great service, larger glasses and unsolicited new drinks to try. I would have liked room to have a comfortable chair instead of just the hardback desk chair.
