This property is exactly as advertised. It is beautifully decorated - simple but chic. The lanai and pool area was absolutely perfect for 5 friends to enjoy the week. The neighborhood is quiet but close to restaurants. Prompt responses to any questions that we had made this vacation a 10!

Canal Home

The home is beautiful and well maintained. It was clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils.

This home appears to have been empty for some time. The home was clean, but when we arrived approximately 8pm, the AC was off and the house was very warm. The main bedroom towards the back of the home took a long time to cool down. The fan only had one speed (medium), so we were not able to speed up the fan to help cool down the room. It took a long time to cool down. The remotes for the fans did not allow you to change speeds. The fan in the back patio was only high speed. The pool was green, so we were not able to use the pool on day 1 (Thursday). I called and sent messages to the management company (Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals) regarding the pool and they told me the pool guy comes out on Thursday. I asked them to call the pool company to come out as soon as possible because the pool was not usable. I called the management company several times to get an eta and I was forwarded to the voicemail of a manager. I left her a message and asked her to call me back - CRICKETS. The pool guy finally showed up towards the end of the day. The pool guy said his manager would come out next day, but that never happened and the pool turned green again. We used the pool one day because we did not want to jump into a green pool. There were sugar ants all over the kitchen counter, so we were ultra careful to not leave any food on the counter. One of the sliding doors did not lock. I never received a phone call back from the management office (Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals).
