Cozy Cottage in Historic Downtown Punta Gorda

Welcome to paradise! Centrally located in the historic district of downtown Punta Gorda, this cottage is a peaceful retreat for some much needed R&R. Accommodating up to 4 guests, this cozy home is your perfect getaway! Between Fishermen’s Village, shops & restaurants, farmers markets, walking trails, parks, fishing, biking, everything is only minutes walk or drive away. We have everything you need for an enjoyable stay!

This coastal chic cottage has a space for everything - enjoy a glass of wine on the private front porch, a good book in the reading nook, or curl up on the couch with your favorite movie. The SMART HDTV streams all of your favorite apps and high speed wifi is throughout the entire cottage. Our kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal at home or to make your favorite cup of coffee or tea.

There is a driveway and side street parking conveniently available to you. A keyless entry makes your check-in a breeze.

We live close by in Punta Gorda and are available to offer help throughout your stay!

Punta Gorda is called Punta Gorgeous for a reason! The downtown historic district of Punta Gorda is known for its charm. Our lovely cottage is located in walking distance to shops, restaurants, parks, the harbor, waterfront sunsets, and more. You will love this location!

There is lots of free and easy parking located all around the city. Punta Gorda offers FREE bike rentals, and everything you will want to enjoy is just a walk or short drive away, including shops, restaurants, and parks. There are many paved walking trails close by through the mangroves or along the harbor.

Plenty of things to do: walking, biking (Punta Gorda offers FREE bike rentals!) fishing, or just enjoying the sunset. Only a few blocks walk from the beautiful Gilchrest Park, you can enjoy the sunset on the Charlotte Harbor. Check out Punta Gorda’s online city calendar to keep up with local festivals, weekend farmers markets, or live entertainment playing nearby during your stay!

Great location that was easy to walk or bike to area attractions. This home is very well done with comfortable furniture, plenty of space, and a nice front enclosed porch area. Clean, neat, well stocked with very good communication from the host.

The house is old, but newly remodeled. It is clean and comfortable. Location is good, many things are walkable and it's quiet at night. My downgrade from a 5 star is the following: promised amenities missing/broken: no hairdryer, the freezer was broken so I had no ice and couldn't buy anything frozen, I couldn't get the washing machine to work (dryer turned on, so I don't think it was the circuit breaker) and I had to squeeze through a garage full of furniture to get to the machines. Also, there was a black flaky substance on the toilet lid that seemed to be falling from the fan. Every time I cleaned it up, it came back. I didn't know what it was, so I was afraid to use that toilet. Bathrooms are small with no counter space to put anything and only 1 hook next to the shower. Very difficult to function in there. Overall my stay was fine, but due to these inconveniences, it probably wouldn't be my first choice.

The Cottage is amazing! It is exactly as advertised - a newly renovated, extremely clean, beautifully furnished quaint cottage with all the amenities to make our stay in Punta Gorda special! We love the location of the property - it is close to a walk next to the bay, a game of pickleball, and Fisherman's Village. Maggie is the best hostess ever. She went overboard to make our stay comfortable! I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Punta Gorda!

CUTE COTTAGE!!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary get away. The second we walked in it was PERFECT! SUPER CLEAN, very neat and organized. Lots of local brochures available for us to look over while we planned our days. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Cottage in the Historical District

What a delight! We found ourselves right in the middle of the Punta Gorda historical district! Yes, it is located on a well traveled one way street. Yes, it doesn’t have the fanciest curb appeal. And yes, there is not a pool! But…. When we opened the front door, we walked into a welcoming and very charming cottage!! It was tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture, a bright and very modern kitchen, a great floor plan and was clean and inviting. The main bathroom was small but more than adequate. There was a newly added deck at the back of the house. Our favorite spot to sit was the enclosed front porch with plenty of windows. It was bright and inviting for morning coffee, an afternoon time to read or a quiet rest in the evening. And what a great location for leisurely walks to the harbor and historical sights. Yes, it had just what we needed to make out six week stay a ‘home away from home’. Kudos to Maggie. She checked in with us to make certain that we were comfortable. And she was readily available if we had any questions. All in all we recommend it!!
