This is Wharariki Beach at sunset. On the South Island of New Zealand we drove to the Northern tip at Farewell Point where Capt. James Cook said farewell to these islands on his way to Australia. This beach is just amazing, with little seal pups playing in the rock pools at low tide and these amazing rocks offshore. Best time to photograph these rocks is when the tide is going out and along the beach to the West. Only a short 1km walk from the car park. #OnTheRoad

One of our favorite places that we stayed on our three week honeymoon in NZ. So close to Wharariki Beach and Sea gave us amazing advice of where to go and best way to get great views - and was my favorite part of New Zealand.
