“I can't begin to describe how lovely this cottage is. Located next to the hosts' home at the edge of town. The patio is right on the canal, beautiful and quiet, perfect place to enjoy a coffee or watch the birds. House is very cute and comfortable and the hosts were accommodating. Note that the washing machine is not in the cottage but is in the hosts' home - they very kindly washed a load of laundry for us and hung it out to dry. The bikes were a fantastic inclusion to help us explore the area……

“The location of the hotel was perfect, walking distance from everything. It was hard to get cleaning services, the check in process was a little difficult. The shower soap was 5 in 1, the toilet paper was paper towels, the mattress had a mattress topper that kept sliding off, no fridge, no microwave anywhere in the hotel room or in the hotel. I wouldn't recommend staying here more than 2-3 days.”

“El lugar es limpio, eficiente el proceso de check-in fue rápido, está muy cerca de una estación de tren lo cual facilita el poder movernos con rapidez y comodidad, , sí pudimos usar la lavadora y secadora con lo cual nos ahorró una cantidad considerable de ropa a llevar,, sin duda regresaría en caso de volver a Ámsterdam, solo mejoraría la sofá cama que nos es cómodo, se tapaba el lavado de manos”

“Booked this hotel as it looked really good online. Also have been looking for a hotel out of the city centre and close to the Vondel Park, for regular trips to Amsterdam. Broke three ribs prior to travel and so was unable to travel as was finding it difficult to walk. I realise a booked a non-refundable ticket, and requested a change of date. I thought that the hotel would have had a bit of sympathy for my situation. But no, they refused to move the date. This room could easily have been……

“Wir mögen das Konzept und besuchen auf unseren Reisen bestimmt bald wieder BobW. Wenn ihr das mit der Reinigung noch ein bisschen besser hinbekommt ist es der perfekte Platz zum übernachten und wohlfühlen.”

“Great restaurant around the corner and plenty of others in walking distance along with shops and grocery store. As of June 2026 a lot of construction in the area that affects train service and walkability.”

“Das Hausboot ist sehr schön. Man hat einen separaten Eingang. Es ist unvorstellbar schön morgens aufzuwachen und direkt aufs Wasser zu blicken. Wir kommen definitiv gerne nochmal, dann aber bei ein wenig besseren Temperaturen.”
