“This is a very nice place if you decide to stay few days in Negombo. The owner is a very nice host. We arrived very late at night ( 2am) and we had no problem to check in. Very good value for the money if you need a simple convenient place to stay while in Negombo.”

“Room was very clean, had a little bit of a strange smell when we first arrived and the bathroom smelled a little bit like drainage. We opened the window in the washroom and kept the door locked so it wasn't a problem. Staff is lovely and has a nice dog as well! We did the Safari through the hotel and it was a great experience! “The staff were really friendly, amazing food and really gorgeous place. They took us on a wildlife tour where we saw otters and loris all on their grounds! There is not much in the local area so you need to keep this in mind if planning to visit a shop or restaurant during your stay, it’s not really possible ”

We can recommend the Araliya Cottage because of the excellent service, delicious meals and the house is beautiful with a large garden. The owner spend hours telling us about Sri Lanka and took us to the beach free of charge were we had street food. During our time in Sri Lanka many of the places we stayed in only had one power outlet. This place has serveral and we did not need our adopter, which……
