“This was our first time in Ecuador, and we spent two nights at Hotel Casa Ecuatreasures. The building itself is beautiful—full of charm, stunning architecture, and lovely decor—right in the heart of the historic district. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and felt safe and secure. What truly made our visit special was Hernan. His hospitality exceeded our expectations. He offered us personalized day and night tours at a very reasonable price, and we felt incredibly lucky……

“This was one of the best hotels we have stayed. It was so clean, staff was extremely helpful and friendly all along the way. Fresh bread daily and stocked fridge. So personal and very welcoming. Recommendations for restaurants and shopping were spot on. I would highly recommend to anyone especially with a family. ”

“The location is excellent, and the hotel itself is fantastic—more of an Airbnb-style setup than a traditional stay. It’s within easy walking distance of all the top spots in Old Town, including the Basílica del Voto Nacional, Independence Square, and the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco. I’d definitely stay here again if I ever return.”

“El hotel tiene una buena unbicación dentro del espacio histórico del centro, así que se puede ir caminando a los sitios. El hotel tiene 16 habitaciones, distribuídas en 3 niveles, no cuenta con elevador. Tiene un restaurante en el top con vistas al "Panecillo", la atención es esmerada, amigable y buscan dar servicio personal. La habitación esta dotada de cobertores calienes y lo necesario para tu comodidad.”

“I had a really enjoyable stay here at Hotel Sucre for 3 nights. The staff were very welcoming upon arrival. Shirley was brilliant. The rooms were very modern, clean and spacious. The towels were new and clean also. I felt very safe as the hotel had a guard who was also very helpful. Food options were great with choices of dishes and drinks. I used the laundry service which was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is excellent, 1 minute walk to the Metro and……

“Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury.”

“Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor.”
