「Peaceful location. From the moment we arrived the hostess, Jo, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The room was clean with good facilities and refreshments. The property is conveniently located for visiting Alton Towers (less than a 10min drive). Would strongly recommend a stay at The Beehive Guest House if visiting the area.」

Attention to detail, lots of thought gone into making it completely dog friendly and secure, just gutted the weather only permitted us one dog field visit! 「Nice room and well presented we had velux windows and therefore couldn’t see outside. We were in room 1 right by stairs so there is more noise with people coming up the stairs. In terms of service every member of staff was doing 2 or 3 jobs everytime we saw them, they were all trying very hard but there really wasn’t enough of them to man all ovations as necessary from reception to bar to restaurant we were served by same person. 」

「Stayed for 3 nights. We received a warm welcome on arrival. Room was attractive, and of a good size, and the provision of bottled water in the room was a lovely touch. Well stocked hospitality tray too. Bathroom was well appointed. Only issue we had was that when showering after 9.30 pm, the hot water only came out as luke warm; by morning it was lovely and hot.
