House was great! Outside had VERY limited access to lake. Not sure why they wouldnt build on too of boat house for sitting area like most around them

We loved our stay. 67 steps is a fantastic property; quaint, bright, and peaceful. Kitchen was fully equipped, bedrooms were sparkling clean and beautifully furnished, and the house was warm and welcoming. We highly recommend this home.

July 4th Wee at Lake George

Great weekend on Lake George. House was great with enough room for 8 adults. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, and eating dinner out on the deck on the big square table. Would definitely come back and stay again!

Cozy lake house

It's everything you need in a lake house, with plenty of character, lots of space (and steps), and a great view. It's not perfect - living room furniture could use a little refresh, but as a last minute getaway it was great.

Lake George Bachelor Party

This house was everything and more that we could have asked for. It was super clean even to the point that when we open the grill it was spotless! The kitchen was the perfect size to allow for multiple people to cook in at one time. The location itself was amazing, it was nestled right near all attractions and excursion points. The sleeping arrangements were another plus!

Perfect Stay

We loved our stay at 67 Steps. The house was extremely clean, the kitchen amenities upgraded and overall a wonderful experience. The fireplace was a wonderful feature as we spent a lot of time indoors over the rainy October weekend. We are already planning our next visit when the weather warms up! Presidents Day Getaway

67 Steps was what we needed for a nice long weekend getaway in the Lake George Region. Communication with the team was fantastic and the cleanliness was on point. Walk down to the boathouse manageable, even in the snow. Living area seating would be tight if we had a larger party. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit.

67 steps—worth a visit!

This house is a gem! It was easy to book and to connect with the host regarding check in/check out. When we arrived, the setup was perfect for our group. With two families sharing the house, the two bedrooms upstairs and 3 downstairs meant little kids could go to sleep at bedtime and older kids and adults could sit up to talk and play games. The wrap around deck and lake views were just what we wanted. Before we packed to go, we already started planning a return visit.

Vacasa owned property. Problems, call an 800 number.

Warning - VACASA property management property. Not owner managed. No interactions will be through VRBO and communications mat result in you having to call a 1-800 call center rather than the simplicity of using the VRBO app. The property would have been great, but it was clear the the property management company doesn't care about the renters like a VRBO owner would. The driveway was a dangerous, unsalted sheet of ice. The porches weren't shoveled at all leaving them completely unusable due to the foot of ice. The steps to the lake, all 67 of them, were completely uncleared despite the proximity and access to the lake being a major selling point. We've stayed at tons of properties in snowy areas during the winter and have never seen one this unprepared for renters. It's like they thought no one would rent in the winter or they forgot we were coming. If you need anything, like the property manager to address a broken garbage disposal and a clogged sink, well they won't answer on VRBO, instead they want you to call their 800 number and wait on hold. We never heard back during our stay, maybe your results will vary. All in all, snow removal aside, it seems like a great property and cool owners... But VACASA, their property manager company ruined it for us.
