The view is stunning, just not easy for parking a big car. location is good and close to the main town center. room very clean and tidy, kitchen is modern.

Lovely house with beautiful views

We stayed here for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. House is spacious , most amazing views from most rooms. Good location easy to access Frankton and Queenstown. Didn’t find the best the most comfortable but everything else was great. Highly recommend.

Queenstown stay

Good value for money. Cosy place. Steep hill. Stunning views. Heaters a bit noisy and water went cold until we worked out how to change the gas over.

As advertised... very nice

We enjoyed our stay at Woodlands Close Retreat. Everything was advertised. The only difficulty we had was finding the house after dark (I suggest finding it during daylight hours). The property comes with lots of information on how to and where to find things. We would have appreciated paper towels, but we bought our own, and from our experience, no properties in NZ (VRBO) provided paper towels. I wished I had found the grill instructions sooner as I thought there was no gas, but this was covered in the provided instructions that my wife read and failed to share with me... I blame her! :). We liked being in the middle between Queenstown and adventure activities. We would stay here again if we returned.
