"Clean comfortable room we used as base camp for a long weekend sightseeing and attending the Triumph concert at Canadian Tire Center. Wanted to be close to the arena rather than downtown. Short walk to bus stop and we could connect to downtown or the opposite way for an event or Sens game at CTC. It was perfect for what we needed. Ottawa has an easy-to-navigate public transportation system. Had to Uber for early am flight out because transit wasn’t practical but might have worked later in the day, albeit much longer. Didn’t use the breakfast because it set up later than our day typically starts. It appeared to be modest but suitable for a quick simple breakfast if that is your need. We would stay again"

"Everything in the hotel was excellet, the surrounding yards need to be cleaned up. Walking our dog, we noticed many used cond*ms, and ladies underwear at the edge of the property next to parking lot. "

"We were very pleasantly surprised by this property and the lovely details. Our guest room was wonderful, the suite allowed room for my husband to work when he needed to while we were travelling, as well as provide some space between the beds while children were sleeping and an area we could be up later in. We generally get suites with a separate bedroom but this property allows very similar experience. The breakfast was lovely and provided a lot of variety. We also got take out food from the restaurant and it was a hit! The food exceeded our expectations, and the pricing was very reasonable. My family loved the pool, despite there not being a hot tub, and the overall cleanliness was superb. We were happy to see staff constantly keeping things tidy and fresh for guests. The location was also great, and provided easy access to many amenities without serious traffic. We had a wonderful stay and would certainly return again."

"The address listed by Expedia is incorrect. In a world where we travel by entering addresses into maps, we lost valuable time in the wrong part of the large campus due to the Woodroffe address listed. Thankfully the Residence staff guided us in the right direction and were very helpful and accommodating, also thankfully we have a vehicle to move ourselves across the area. If we had been dropped off, with all our equipment, we would have been stuck a very long way from the actual Residence. The rooms are clean and simple. Perfect for what it is. Staff, access, parking, all great. Very disappointed in Expedia for not confirming the location."

"There was a loud noise all night from the outside I don’t know what it was but kept me until 2:00. When I told the front desk the woman didn’t really seem to care. But otherwise great breakfast and clean rooms, shower head could use a change it was a light mist"
