It's a beautiful building in the middle of downtown! But set the right expectations for a mid 1700s building full of character. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange our transportation to the airport. Highly recommended for a short stay.

Una delicia hospedarse en un hotel que huele y sabe a historia, opulencia y lujo de antaño, con todas las comodidades modernas. Una atención cálida y esmerada. Nos hicieron sentir en casa.

This hotel doubles as an event space. When we stayed there on a Saturday night, there was a quinceañera being held in the lobby. The loud music went until 1 AM and the guests didn’t leave until after that. The result was that we did not get any sleep at all that night. When we inquired with the front desk at 11 PM they said there was nothing they could do. We booked 2 months ahead of time. If we had been made aware of the rowdy event, we would have reserved a different hotel. Be aware!!! If there is an event, you will not get any sleep and management is unresponsive!!!

Great review of this hotel! It features excellent staff, including a talented piano player during breakfast/brunch service. Above all, it boasts a historic and central location. Brush up on your Spanish, and you will have a great time!

This is an exceptional, one of a kind property! I cannot imagine that there is a better place to stay in the city or most other cities. Read up on the history, check out the pics, it’s all true. The one drawback is that the breakfast starts late and there is no coffee except for the pod in your room - but there are plenty of excellent breakfast places nearby.
