The property is going through a large upgrade to the main lobby and all rooms. This had been needed for some time so I had know problem with it. The room I was in had been renovated and was very nice. This will probably be going on for several months but will be worth it when completed. They just need to do something with the Shark Club as all they have is Denny’s on site.

Sandman Quesnel is lovely. They were extremely helpful as we needed to leave a vehicle there for an extra night. The hotel was clean and even though they are in the middle of renovations, it was quiet and comfortable.

I couldnt run a bath for my child..had to fill the tub with the shower head and cups from the sink. I paid good money to stay here and wasnt great. Wasnt worth the cost.

Stuff said it was in the renovation. The room light was dim and a little old impression. I would like to expect renovation. My kids enjoyed hot tub and pool, pool was a little cold.

Definitely an older room but clean The desk chair could totally be replaced it was very stained but we covered it with a towel . Was fine for a one night stay.

I didn’t like that the room was old and many broken things in the room. Plugs wouldn’t stay in outlets lights flickering constantly. Curtains wouldn’t open or close properly they kept jamming up. Fridge didn’t work had to have it swapped out. The key card worked one out of every five or six swipes.

Very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly as I had some issues with my credit card. Close to Walmart, gas stations, Starbucks and more. The beds/bedding are comfy and there is a Denny’s restaurant on site for dining. Some of the rooms are outdated but I believe there is Reno’s underway. The pool and hot tub were recently reno’d!

The receptionist at check in was exceptional. The first Queen room was ridiculously small but the receptionist offered us a much better room. The entrance was under renovations and was just a desk on the floor. She went out of her way to find extra cups and boiled us hot water from the staff lunch room. She also let us into the newly renovated hot tub area even though it was technically. closed as chemicals were not totally stabilized. Thank you. The room was OK but needed renovating. There was only a very small fridge (no freezer) and no microwave. Attached restaurant was a bonus.

I am glad to see that my front desk agent was able to find a room type that suited your needs. we did test the chemicals thoroughly before me opened the hot tub and pool, the issue was actually the temperature of the pool had not come up fast enough. We were pretty disappointed actually. I had no idea the building is under going renovations, the queen bed was more like a double. The room photos made it look a lot nicer and larger than it was. The lady at the "temporary" front desk was very nice though.

The property was under construction so understandably it was obvious they were doing their best to accommodate guests. My only complaint is that the employees are not trained properly on debit machines. If they were trained properly they would know how to release a preauth on a credit card. Ridiculous that the customer has to wait 3-5 business days for deposit refund due to the incompetence of the staff.

worst hotel experience ever. reeked of cigarettes in common areas so bad it made me nauseous. full on construction zone meant listening to power tools all day long and no pool or gym with no notice of this before hand and no discount. pool and gym were main reason for booking this hotel. for $187 a night we didn’t even get real wifi, captive portal wifi meant data is open to thieves and you cannot do any work from the hotel. broken outlets in room meant we charged things all night to wake up to them dead. i will never stay at sandman again and would never recommend to others. couldn’t have been worse. only redemption was the staff were friendly.
