“Finn's Frolic is a lovely, private cottage on a quiet farm road. Big windows let in light all day. The decor is cheerful and casual, and the house is spotless. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking a meal, and you can cook outdoors on a grill or over a fire. There's even a laundry room! The hosts provide eggs and oatmeal for breakfast, along with coffee and tea. The loft bedroom can sleep two adults, though the ceiling might be a little low for someone tall. The hosts are friendly and……

“Wonderful vibes near Shenandoah National Park (~20 minute drive). The hot tub fits well for 3-4 people, and the water feels amazing. Our favorite part! There is a campfire with logs near it; can be difficult to start a fire if not experienced ... should come prepared with fire starters. Bedrooms are comfortable, and there are Roku TVs with Disney+ and Netflix as well as board games for the family or friends to spend time together indoors.”

“Very nice apartment in a historical building. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Everything was lovely. Owner promptly answered questions. I didn't realize how much traffic came through this town. Fortunately, the bedroom door blocked the street noise. It was a very nice respite from a long drive.”

“Very clean, looks to be recently renovated, comfortable king bed. Convenient for mountain biking at Bryce - you can ride straight down the hill to the lift.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The townhome was very clean, comfortable, and well prepared for guests. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful essentials and little touches provided for travelers — they made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, especially for anyone visiting Luray Caverns and exploring the Shenandoah area. It was very convenient and worked perfectly for our visit. Aline and Bart were wonderful hosts and communicated clearly and promptly……

“Wife and I and my crew chief stayed here overnight when I raced at nearby Shenandoah Speedway. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. When the only real complaint was no sugar for the coffee, when there was cream, you know it's OK. The towels were nice and fluffy and the cottage smelled clean, not like recent disinfectant. Hot water comes on quickly and the adjustable shower head worked well with no clogs. Only real issue was that our mattress was too soft for us. But my crew chief said……

“We really enjoyed our time at this cozy cabin in the woods. It is a beautiful, peaceful location and offered a great break from the city. The space was clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was quick and easy. If you are looking to unplug and relax in nature, I highly recommend booking this place!”

“Cute place ! Very relaxing and peaceful! Really enjoyed the hot tub !”

“The cabin is beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you could want. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed the deck amenities. Alex was super responsive when we had an issue with the hot tub and quickly helped with a fix. Would recommend this cabin if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. The area is beautiful with lots to do from wineries and hiking to antique shopping and exploring cute historic towns. We did not do a cavern this time but if that interests you there are plenty……

“We really love the house location: close to all the shops and Copper Kettle restaurant. Also, we enjoyed sitting on the deck!”

“Very nice, and quiet place toSpend the weekend Great little getaway spot.”

“We truly enjoyed our stay overall. The cabin is beautiful, and it's obvious the owner has put a great deal of thought and care into the decor. The setting is peaceful, and there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. We made new memories, saw some things that brought back old ones, and were able to truly relax. The only downside, and unfortunately it was a significant one for us, was the water. We understood the home uses well water, but we weren't prepared for the very strong sulfur……

“Great if you'd like a silent getaway. Nobody is going to bother you out here if you need a quiet or romantic night!”
