"Property is definitely older, rooms need an upgrade. The floor we stayed on had a strong sulphur smell. The good news is they are undergoing a complete renovation this year. Beach is great… soft sand. Love the size of the property. Not too big, easy to get around. Food was great. Staff was excellent! Very kind and always accommodating!"

"If you do not book through Riu, you have to get your own shuttle. you can do this through Expedia, but after you book it you will want to call the shuttle company and get very clear meet up instructions. the airport is full of people who tell you they are with your shuttle just to try to sell you something."

"This resort met my expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, the place was clean. Wifi worked, there was always hot water. The pools are nice too and the beach access is great. My only word of caution is to watch your drinks very carefully, someone was slipping drugs into drinks. "

"Room cleaned everyday, staff very friendly, food was very nice with a great choices in the main restaurant. The thing that we did not like was, if you wanted to eat at other restaurants, you had to queue at 5.30pm to get a seat or a buzzer for a later table, people would queue from 5pm and most was all booked out by 6.pm. "It was the first time I was at a resort that you had to sign for everything with an all inclusive package it drove me nuts. I was constantly waiting for drinks so the paperwork would get printed out late in the evening. It was very difficult to get a drink or food unless you paid. Beac was beautiful thou "

"This property was good , however there was a new building being constructed which was very noisy. The bars did not open until 11am and closed early with only one remaining open until midnight. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean , however the cleaners would take the bathmat and hand towel and not replace them. You also had to ask for a facecloth . Overall it was a good trip. The beach was wonderful and the pools were nice."
