The security guard was helpful, made us feel very secure, and watched out for the guests. Even helped us confirm that the Uber driver was who he said he was as the license plate did not match the app. Breakfast was good and the hours were long. However, there were a couple of issues during our stay. The building uses a solar water heating system instead of gas, and unfortunately there was no hot water for one full day. “This has to be my favorite hotel in Quito! The location is centered only a few blocks from La Plaza Grande and accessible to everything! The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable! The breakfast that comes with the rate was top notch for a continental breakfast! I was in a beautiful room with a balcony that looked out to the Cathedral and the surrounding streets. The hotel is safe and the staff will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. This will be my hotel of choice every time……
