Excellent stay in Quito Historical Centre

Very welcoming and communicative hosts via messages. We loved the apartment and it's in a very quiet area but just a 5-10 min walk to the historical center with squares and cathedrals. The beds were comfy, the showers clean and warm, and the apartment was so beautiful and had tons of character. Would absolutely stay here again!

A wonderful apartment!

The apartment is very nice and spacious with a separate loft that can be used as a work area. The views are amazing from the balcony and I will request to book this again whenever I stay in Quito.

Excellent location

This property is in an awesome part of Old town and makes for a great jumping off point for all of your Ecuadorian adventures! The view of La Virgen del Panecillo from the private terrace makes for a terrific backdrop to wind down at the end of the day. Great hosts and wonderful, attentive communication throughout our stay. We loved our stay in Quito! Our hosts were gracious ensuring that we had transportation from the airport and accommodating for the needs of my elderly parents. The home itself was just lovely. Amazing hospitality/beautiful property

Absolutely awesome! For a small extra fee picked us up at the airport and brought us back. Gave us keys at the door and also met us there at the end. Beautiful house. Very quiet and was available to answer any questions. Would have loved to stay there longer!

Easy Check-in

We were picked up at the airport and our driver waited with us until the keys to the place arrived ( just a few min. After we got there). The home was lovely. We had family staying in different units and it was wonderful eating breakfast together in one home, or waiting for each-other in the courtyard. The building felt safe and it was very clean. The proximity to old town was perfect for our trip. Thanks!

Great place in Quito

We enjoyed our stay a lot. First, we were picked up at the airport and upon arrival we got a tour of this wonderful place. We especially enjoyed our private terrace for its views and for our lunch break. The location is , you can walk around, you’re close to taxis etc. at the end of our stay they arranged transport to the airport. Everything was very organized and communication with the owners was very easy. We would certainly go back if we planned for another Quito visit. Just to repeat the first sentence ‘we enjoyed our stay a lot.’

Comfortable apartment with incredible view in historic Quito

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners were very attentive to communication both online and at checkin and during our stay, addressing any needs we had at any time. They went above and beyond to arrange for safe taxi transport pickup for us at the airport and met us at the apartment to explain everything upon checkin. The apartment is lovely and comfortable and well equipped. The view is superb and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the private patio every morning and wine there every evening. Plenty of hot water and the washer/dryer was a bonus. Convenient location. Great WiFi! Highly recommend! Thank you for a great stay in Quito!

Beautiful apartment in historic house

Truly enjoyed spending three nights in Vista Los Andes. Ideal location just a short walk to La Ronda or Centro Historico, and taxis are plentiful just a block away if you want to go anywhere in Quito. FYI, taxis are quite inexpensive and are best way to travel. Vista Los Andes has a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable and spacious living room, and it’s own rooftop terrace, plus a lift with office or reading area. The king size bed is very comfortable. Bedroom has ensuite, plus there is a separate full bathroom. There was a second bedroom (that we never even entered) which had two single beds. Apartment is nicely decorated with items to reflect the charm of this 100+ year old house. Perfect choice for exploring and enjoying Centro Historico, with basic groceries and bakeries just steps away and plenty of restaurants within a short walk. Very pleased that we opted for the character and charm of Vista Los Andes. Esteban was excellent to deal with and always friendly and helpful.

Charming home, lots of space

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this property. There was plenty of space and all of the amenities we needed. The host provided us with transport from the airport for an extra fee, which was very helpful, and met us when we arrived at the property.The location is within easy walking distance from the old town and at least one metro stop, so it was a good starting point for our daily excursions. The host did warn us against walking in the area later in the day and recommended using an Uber after 6:30pm. Uber rides are easy to get and quite cheap though. The location was just outside of a "good area", but following the advice to use Uber later in the day, we never felt unsafe. The property is well secured with multiple locks before you can even get to the common areas.The patio with the view of El Panecillo was a nice place for morning coffee or evening drinks, although the patio furniture was stored in the living room and needed to be moved to the patio to be used.The living room furniture was comfortable enough for the two of us. We didn't cook but we did bring food and drinks home several times, and the full kitchen was nice for preparing our meals and drinks. The bedrooms were just big enough for the beds, but sufficient. We both felt that the mattresses were quite a bit too firm for us.The common areas show well in the photos, but they aren't as well lighted or clean as the photos would suggest. The private areas were dusty in many places, but not otherwise dirty.

Everything we could want in Quito

Charming apartments with plenty of room and character. Beautiful views and easy walking to everything we wanted to see. Took cabs for other things for very little money. We were picked up at airport and met at the door (our friends stayed in another unit in the same property). Very nice as we arrived at 1 am. Everything we had hoped for - no regrets renting this lovely place!

We stayed in the unit 6, two bedroom two bath apartment. The place is very beautiful, clean, with a private patio overlooking the city. The wood burning fireplace added more charm and needed warmth during evenings. The location is very convenient to the historic sights and grocery stores. You will want to get a taxi or uber to restaurants though, which is realy inexpensive. Thank you to Maria and Esteban for helping make our stay in Quito a wonderful experience.
