Not a place for introverts. I booked this place for a week after traveling a month throughout Vietnam. This was supposed to be the cherry on top of a fantastic vacation but it ended up being a bit disappointing. The beach view is gorgeous and the property is beautiful. Overall, however, it was just okay. What I really didn’t enjoy is the weird vibes from the staff. I just felt on edge there and I got the feeling that I was a bother to them. One example, we waited 30 minutes just to order our lunch after they gave us menus. Then it took another 30 minutes to get the check. I tried to find someone but no one was around. Other guests were taken care of immediately. It was pretty blatant each day so we decided to do room service to avoid this. And just relax. That was a lot nicer, except the day it took 2 hours to get our food. They did apologize and give us coconuts. Other things were more small and personal to my taste: the pool is small and HOT. There’s hardly spaces to just relax because the seating at outdoor bar always had club music, and the chairs outside by the restaurant leave chipped paint all over you. Pool loungers always taken up. Food incredibly expensive and not worth that price. I liked the room but again, just some small things that made it not as comfortable: hard pillows, a fire alarm directly above the bed that flashes a bright green light, and the patio seating was too low- I couldn’t see the ocean if I sat down on the patio chair.
