Julian and his staff provided exemplary service. House keeping and pool staff were super attentive and professional. We upgraded to a Junior Suite, which was huge. Loved the proximity to Mdina and Rabat has some great restaurants too. We will Come back for sure.

The hotel is new and beautiful. The staff is very attentive, the room was gorgeous. All is in a type of new-scandi style. It was worth the price. We were able to walk to the city nearby and also uber around to nice beaches far from the crowds. I hope to visit again!

Amazing quality hotel, great food (restaurant could do with 1 more veggie main but all the quality was super high). Fast internet, avo toast poached eggs served during lunch hours is a nice touch. Spa is excellent, staff are very attentive. Good air conditioning, breakfast was OK but not amazing, generally good quality but I think better options for ordering and sourdough as a bread option would elevate it significantly.

The Verda La Wellness is the most recent entry into Malta’s luxury hotel market, the architect has made the most of the site, it is visually appealing. The hotel is well staffed well and they are eager to please. The Odyssey Suite is spacious and included a well stocked inclusive bar. The offerings included champagne, whiskey, cognac and several bottles of wine. My welcome bouquet was truly beautiful and fragrant. The bed and bedding was dreamy and cloud like, I slept as if I were in my own home. Other than the expected growing pains, I observed some unlikely choices of furniture favoring IG worthiness over comfort and longevity of function. It seems likely those will be remedied in due time. I was unwell during my stay and the ample food, beverage and spa services did not leave me wanting. Four days was not enough at The Verdala Wellness Hotel, I would not hesitate to return for a longer stay.

Amazing 7 night stay here. Lovely hotel, perfectly maintained. Our room was a generous size with all amenities you need, turn down service on an evening is a lovely addition but as they tended to knock at 5pm this was too early for us so we only benefitted once. The spa facilities are amazing open 8am till 8pm very quiet extremely tranquil with a lovely outdoor space with sun beds too. The restaurant is lovely with some great staff Prosecco breakfast included with a great waiter Himal who kept us topped up. Had evening meal for three nights and the food was faultless we would have preferred a big menu or additional specials - the complimentary appetiser was the same each evening. The hotel is relatively new and there’s still scope to improve on sunbed or evening drinks service but I know this can be a fine line of been pestered. Julian the customer relations manager was very friendly and helpful and spoke to us daily during our stay usually during complimentary afternoon tea served on floor four - two savoury canapés and a sweet option daily including tea, coffee, juice and Prosecco. Great hotel and only 2 minutes to a convenience store or 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants.

This is a stunning new wellness hotel with one of the best wellness spas I have been to. It is newly built and beautifully designed. It is in the hills with views over the fields and major town in the distance. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The bed is a bit too hard for me. And the shower is over a small bath, but I quite like baths and am small, but maybe not for a large male! The food at the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast offers lots of choices and is very well done. The best part for me is the staff who are just lovely, can't do enough for you and make you feel so welcome. As a solo traveller I felt like a special guest not just one in a crowd of nameless faces. It is a very relaxing place where you can recharge. I would recommend it to those looking for a more relaxing peaceful holiday in Malta

Reborn energy

The atmosphere at the hotel is calm and truly delightful. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a fresh, spa-like scent that fills both the lobby and the hallways. The spa area is modern and innovative, with a beautiful Nordic-inspired design that creates a sense of luxury and tranquility. The facilities include unique showers with different functions – such as a tropical rain shower with soothing bird sounds – which makes the experience both fun and deeply relaxing. My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon here, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. It was exactly the kind of relaxation we needed after a big wedding celebration. As a wonderful surprise, we were upgraded to a larger room and received a delicious dessert from the hotel as a wedding gift – such a thoughtful gesture. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Eren, the concierge, was especially attentive and supportive throughout our stay. The food at Griffen is absolutely fantastic – both delicious and healthy – and perfectly complements the wellness experience. Every detail at this hotel is carefully thought out, creating a truly holistic stay that nurtures both body and mind. All in all, this is the best spa hotel I have ever stayed at, and we look forward to revisiting this amazing place for another getaway and a reborn sense of energy.

After navigating the crazy traffic of Malta, we arrived at this oasis and concierge Craig set the tone for a very relaxing stay in a beautiful hotel, spa and restaurant with some of the kindest staff imaginable. It is with great sadness that we leave today!
