「It was the most beautiful property with magnificent views of Lake Michigan. Everything we needed was at the facility. We will definitely be booking next year and the year after. For over 10 years my sisters and I have come to Kenosha for our birthdays. We have always stayed at a hotel and this year decided to find a lake house. After staying here we will never go back to a hotel again.」

「The house and property were the perfect size for our mixed group of friends. We loved the open space in the kitchen with direct access to the water. Parking was plentiful and just enough beds and bathrooms! Hosts were incredibly communicative and neighbors were friendly and quiet! Would highly recommend staying here.」

「A super nice get away! Granddaughters & son came out for 2 days & enjoyed the beach, kayaking & game fun on the huge deck. We stayed the remaining time & enjoyed watching people launch their boats & other lake activities from the public pier area. It is super clean & very comfortable. I will definitely go back!」

「Home suited our needs perfectly. Only suggestion would be to have some basic toiletries in the bathrooms, such as shampoo or bars of soap. The bedroom with the bunkbeds needs one or two small nightstands, so you can put a phone or bottle of water near the bed instead of on the floor. Ended up using a cardboard box as my table. But would definitely come back.」

「The bedrooms were clean & straightforward. The common area was comfortable for everyone. The kitchen was complete & easy-to-use. We appreciated that the place was pet-friendly!」

「Cottage on the Canal did not disappoint! Grant was very reachable and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was very clean. There were plenty of activities to do, but just relaxing outside on the deck was wonderful. Grant even left a bottle of wine to greet us when we walked in. Highly recommend staying here!」

「Great house. House is older but loved the look and style. Home was clean, with not a ton of modern upgrades if that bothers you. Near a main road so you could hear traffic noise on Saturday nights, but nothing crazy. House was in a great location near Brady street. Walked home and around the house numerous times with no concerns.」

「This home is as comfortable and well equipped as described, with a very "homey" feel that is easy to settle into. Given its location, and the surrounding area, you may be deceived to think that its in more of a neighborhood or busy more urban location. It's quite the contrary. Once you've entered the home, and are out on the beautiful property, you are in your own private oasis that could be located in any North woods location. It's quiet and peaceful the entire stay, be it on the large deck or...

「The location is fantastic, so many great places for food, drinks, coffee nearby. The place was very clean and well appointed. I wish we had more a/c units as the Sept. afternoons got warm. But I'd stay there again and will recommend it to friends.」

「Awesome location, so convenient to get to all of the places I had planned for my wedding weekend- art museum, Great Lakes distillery, urban ecology center, etc. Parking in the back is lovely since street parking can be tricky around there. We used the upstairs kitchen for a getting ready space and used the other wing staircase as a “bridesmaids first look” space. Having this as a part of our weekend was a game changer, it was great having the wedding party all in one place!」
