I accidentally booked my room for the wrong night and there is a no refund cancellation policy. However, the manager at the Alpine inn spoke with me, and Expedia along with the alpine inn managed to switch the hotel booking for the following night that I intended to book after having a set back on travel times unexpectedly. I was so grateful they were willing to book a new room with date change, and we didn’t loose our hotel stay night because I was on a tight budget taking a road trip with my son. Will definitely book with the alpine inn again

Breakfast is included. You go to a very cute cafe down the road called Screamers. You have three breakfast options to choose from from 8-11am. They're kind of small but tasty. Looks like the breakfast normally would have cost $5 to purchase. The rooms were clean and came with a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. We brought our own camping stove so could cook our own meals. They also had a BBQ on site but we didn't check out it's condition. Ice machine worked. Staff were nice. We'd stay here again. Very close to the hot springs.

Alpen motel is at very nice location. It is close to the hot springs, the general store and some restaurants. However, the property's cleanliness could be improved. We found some bugs everyday upon returning at the end of the day. There was also no hairdryer. The motel is better for short-term stay (2-3 days).

It was good value for the price particularly in comparison to Golden so Radium restaurants benefited at Golden's loss. We really enjoyed the beautiful drive through the park on our way to Calgary

We had a good stay at the Alpen Motel. We noticed that not all the outlets were working. Breakfast was included but we did not receive our coupons at check-in. After we called about it we were able to pick them up. The breakfast at Screamers was good!

Everything was clean and accessible. Staff were friendly and helpful. I love that they have collaborated with a local business for breakfast and coffee. It wasn’t fancy but tasted good and got us started for the day. I would go back! It was a lovely town with a small community feeling. Even the deer were friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at Alpen Motel. We were able to use the BBQ both days which was great! We did think for the price we paid that the place could be kept up better outdoors. Were satisfied with our stay though.

Shabby, worn, but not chic. As expected for th affordable rate. Small room. No dresser bureau or drawers of any kind. Closet with one shelf. Tiny, old bathroom, not renovated. Parking always available. Check in and out was easy and fast. Fridge, mice wave and coffee maker. Situated between hot springs pools and restaurants.

The property is old but has had some renovations done to it. It was clean and AC worked good while we were there. If you have lavish taste then this hotel is not for you but if you need a clean place to crash in between activities in the area then this hotel will be just fine. The breakfast is served down the road at a cute little coffee/ice cream shop and you only get a choice of 3 options: a bread pudding (delicious), egg quiche, or a breakfast sandwich. It’s not a hearty breakfast by any means but will get you stated for the day. We were overall happy with our stay but weren’t in the room much.
