"We had a very pleasant stay at Oosland Barns. Very comfortable accommodation. Clean and comfy. It was a relaxing atmosphere. Good facilities and we enjoyed the hot tub. Good location for exploring Stratford and the Cotswolds. Really enjoyed our weekend."

"We stayed at the Hunting Lodge for a long weekend to celebrate my husband's 40th. The house is beautiful, in a gorgeous setting with lots of lovely walks on your doorstep. The house is well maintained, with all mod-cons whilst still maintaining its character and charm. All our guests noted they slept well and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Alison, the housekeeper, was very attentive, sending a welcome email the night before our arrival and was on hand for any last minute queries we had. The only concerns future guests should note is 1) the walls are exceptionally thin, with little to no sound-proofing. As such, children were kept awake upstairs simply by adults having normal volume conversations downstairs, and 2) the house is located immediately next door to what appears to be a small industrial setting, which was empty during our stay but once filled again I could imagine would impede on the feeling of privacy."

"Pretty clean, were a few cobwebs around. Was quite cold even with the heating turned right up and it’s not clear upon booking that it’s just feet away from a main A road so quite a bit of road noise when in the bedroom and sitting room. Bed is excellent, large and comfortable. Garden is big but due to some damaged fencing wasn’t totally enclosed and we had our dog so that wasn’t ideal. Hot tub would’ve been nice but it’s wood fired so would’ve taken 2-3 hours to heat up and wasn’t heated before arrival and I didn’t want to spend all afternoon tending to a fire outside. They only put 3/4 logs inside for the fireplace in the sitting room even though there was plenty in the shed outside so I’m not sure why they didn’t put more inside to last us our entire trip so instead I had to go outside to get more when it was raining. They did leave us a bottle of fizz and cake for arrival which was a nice thought. We walked our dog along the road which leads up to the main house, he was on a lead and didn’t go in any fields which were behind fences. The land owners wife came along told us we weren’t allowed to walk along there so we had to go back. We were made to feel not welcome and nowhere on the information for booking nor in the welcome back does it say we can’t walk along that road. Seems odd you’d open the lodge on site for dog friendly stays but not even allow people to walk along a road which starts right next to the lodge. Overall was okay and clean and cosy but I wouldn’t recommend it for people as there’s plenty of other places more suitable for a dog and with less things you have to do yourself to have a nice stay after paying for it."
