Great vacation

Great stay once again, the house was ready for our arrival. The views are amazing the deck loungers are perfect. The house had everything we need. The caretaker Nicky was very helpful and is the perfect host.

Beautiful Home

This property was beautiful, clean & just as pictured. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect for 4 people. It was so relaxing, loved listening to the waves as the ocean is right across the street. Beautiful beaches, love this island. Thanks for a great stay.

Comfortable Getaway Spot!

Property was comfortable with a outdoor pool and deck area overlooking the Caribbean sea. Rainbow Bay location is a quiet location centrally located on the northern part of the island, but most restaurants are at least a 15-20 minute drive away.

Beautiful house and amazing pool. House was well equipped except for a few odds and ends and had a nice clean outdoor grill. The Rainbow Beach area was OK, not much beach to walk there and you need water shoes. Same with the small beach at the house and it's tricky getting down to it. All in all we enjoyed our stay, the Bahamian people are always friendly.

Great home in Rainbow Bay

The house is well appointed, and the pool and pool deck are perfect for kids and adults. I'd absolutely rent this home again.

Paradise on a beautiful island

The property was very clean and welcoming it felt as we were at home. The view was amazing and sleeping at night was very calming as we could hear the waves crashing into the ancient coal. The location was a very private intimate property. We will be coming back!!

Beautiful location

This home was very comfortable. The beach access is rocky and not really able to enter the water from here. The view was incredible however! Beaches and restaurants are not far at all. Definitely will return!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time on Eleuthera. We liked the central location of the villa. Pool was great. Master bedroom mattress was very comfortable. We couldn’t get the TV to work but it didn’t matter that much because we had games available for rainy days. I would suggest some more pool rafts as the ones provided were not in working order. The washer and dryer were great. Nicky, the manager, was very accommodating and a great hostess! The air conditioning in the unit was very comfortable and nice to have ceiling fans as well. Beautiful view!

Beautiful view

We really enjoyed the home. It was very clean and had many amenities that we were looking for such as a/c, washer, dryer, dishwasher, and outdoor living area. We thought we would use the pool more frequently but we spent our days at the beach and after the sun goes down the bugs are not good. The property is located central on the island which was convenient for exploring either north for the day or south for the day. For future visitors, please know to access the small beach area right by the home, you will head north until you see a driveway with a place for about 2 vehicles. We thought it was closer and was just a path but there were none that we wanted to risk using but after about 5 days we found the small area. The ocean was quite rough while we were there so this didn't impact our stay in anyway. The property manager, Nicky, was great to work with. She met us at the house and went through a few things and even when we needed things, she was there to help. The only thing I would have liked for the property was to have a generator as we had one power outage that was 12 hours and one that was about 8 hours but it sounds like normally if power is lost it is only about 10 minutes (which we had our last morning as well.). Overall great property and was better than expected!!

Beautiful peaceful location. Pool is a huge bonus.

Clean well appointed house. Doesn't really have an ocean view due to the sea grapes across the street, but the little beach across the street is a two minute walk and is perfect for swimming and snorkeling with small kids (when the seas are flat), or body surfing and wave jumping for the adults when it's wavy. Hidden beach is a 10 minute walk, and for the adventurous, the Cliffs is about a 1/2 hour walk or a 5 minute drive and are spectacular. Wear appropriate footwear as the limestone cliffs are extremely jagged to walk on. Walk down the sunken road 300 yards to the west of the house to find a spectacular little cove open to the ocean perfect for wading and enjoying a cold one. The pool was clean and the perfect compliment to the beach across the street. Excellent for rinsing off he salt after swimming in the ocean. We got into Governors Harbor airport before 10am and Nicky was kind enough to meet us at the house early so we could start our trip to paradise as soon as possible. This is our third trip to Eleuthera, so we knew what to expect. Yes, the power goes out occasionally, and yes there are no seeums in the evenings but that is a small price to pay. We explored 25 beaches in 6 days and each one has it's own unique flavor and charm. Only 3 had other people on them. The house is easy to get to from Queens Highway and secluded enough that we only saw 3 cars drive down the road the whole time we were there. We will be back.

COME AND GO VILLA

We had a wonderful time in Eleuthera. Beautiful Island, very underdeveloped, no crowds. The Queen's highway is main route and will take you everywhere, use goggle maps & you will need a rental car. Do not drive after dark, road is dangerous, no lights. Come and Go Villa Property was clean, great kitchen, washer dryer, AC, bedrooms clean, comfortable, bathrooms clean, updated, lots of bath towels, beach towels, close to Rainbow bay- a must see on the Caribbean side. The pool was very nice, and the view was breathtaking of the Atlantic. rocky beach just across road. Good internet and cable. Very comfortable for 2 couples. I would go back. Now, just a few things need to be attended to and the management company was open to the suggestions: the closet doors in both bedrooms are either broken off track or stuck, faucet in one bathroom loose, outside grill very old and only one side fired up, hard to use to cook your fish, one of the chaise loungers out by pool with ripped cover so unable to lay down and use, 3 out of the 4 chairs at the umbrella table with arms broken off and fungus growing on them, those need to be replaced. It is the islands, so be prepared for a slower lifestyle. It was really relaxing. Bring plenty or bug spray! for nighttime and use long sleeves and pants at night. I got nailed with the no-see-ums (little black knats) small bites that itch like crazy. Overall, it was great, the food in restaurants fresh and tasty and the people friendly and helpful.

Reviewer Comments: I have mixed feelings about this review, but wanted to share our experience. Overall, the house is great. Very nicely appointed. Kitchen has everything you need. Two master suites. Pool is nice. So no complaints there. However, we did have some mishaps during our stay. Opened the coffee maker to see moldy, old grounds that were never cleaned. Opened a dresser drawer to find someone's old clothes. So this is obviously a housekeeping issue that needs to be addressed. I also did have an issue with the listing and what was offered. It said king beds in both bedrooms when they were both queens. Also no floating pool chairs as pictured (they did provide beach chairs, though) and no gas grill. That's all fine, they just shouldn't be included in the listing.And here's the kicker. We were without water for a day and a half. Had to use buckets of pool water to flush toilets. I get it, it's an island. These things happen. But no back up water cistern in this house for these types of issues. I must say, though, that the management company did an excellent job of relocating us to another property. And with nice hot showers available.So overall, some issues, but like I said, the house is very nice.
