“Beautiful place inside, private and quiet. The staff were very accommodating to my ever changing travel issues. I was sad not to be able to stay for more nights!”

“The staff was friendly, especially the blonde lady at the front, forgot to get her name. Also, Ms. Kathy that was in charge of breakfast has the best personality. She takes pride in her breakfast making skills and is on top of having enough food to feed the crowds. I would definitely stay here again, felt very welcoming. The shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion provided in the room was also very helpful.”

“Loved our stay my only complaint is the parking - It’s either $50 a day for valet or $30 a day for self parking that turns over at 5a so you’re paying for at minimum 2 days. Also getting to the parking with luggage is a nightmare”

“Check in was great after being on the road for 15 hrs with too dogs. Room was very clean well maintained kinda small but nice. Bed was comfortable but loud when you moved around. Asheville is dog city USA. Holding that name and being a dog friendly hotel they should have a small dog area or going to restroom or hanging out there wasn’t anything like this. over all 4 out of 5 would stay again for sure price was right”

“Could not use my booking due to a terrible smell in the room after turning on the heater. The odor was extremely strong — a heavy dusty, burning smell coming from the heater that made it unhealthy and impossible to stay in the room. I notified the host immediately and left the property, but the response was basically, “it’s probably just dust burning off and it will get better later because the heater is not used often.” The host also refused to provide any refund. “Echo Mountain Inn was an absolute gem. The property was spotless, and the hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a restful night after taking in the stunning surroundings. There’s also a charming little store on-site with thoughtful touches. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. But the real highlight? The views—truly amazing and worth every moment. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Our room was clean, and the property was clean. The hotel is no frills, but you get what you pay for. Our home was being renovated, and we need somewhere close by that was reasonably priced to stay for a couple of days. The hotel did charge a double deposit because we were “locals”. I was not happy about that, but it was refunded in a few days. The breakfast consisted of waffles only and lukewarm coffee. Fortunately it is located near many fast food restaurants, a Wal-mart, and a grocery store.……
