Always our first choice. The resort is spacious, quiet and has everything we could possibly want. Staff are incredible- kind, cheerful and attentive. Daphne, Popo & Kally are standouts with their awesome customer service :) This was our second stay at The Rarotongan this year, and we will definitely be back.

Great place to stay all amenities available and fantastic cultural show, food, swimming an island paradise within the resort, I would highly recommend anyone visiting the Cook Islands this is the best place to stay.

A great place for a family holiday with all you need. Restaurant was top notch for breakfast with something for everyone. Beachside room was basic for the price but quiet most of the time. Beach next door was a better option for us as a busy time of year in August and hotel beachfront very busy with families. Enjoyed the cocktail hour and nibbles. Bus comes into the entrance of hotel every 30 minutes, which is great and no car needed but $5 for each trip so for a family car hire may be more economical.

Loved the fact we could have 3 connecting rooms, perfect for our family of 5. Clean rooms, aircon and fans. Beds super comfortable and a balcony on all rooms. It was a quiet property with the most amazing snorkelling spot. So many tropical fish and turtles. The marine guide was awesome too. Staff super friendly. Loved this place, we will be back.

Phenomenal resort. We were stunned by all the free activities included with our stay. They really put a lot of heart and attention into creating truly memorable experiences for the kids. The hermit crabs hunt and races were so much fun. Also, to be able to hop on a kayak or paddleboard and explore anytime was amazing. We will definitely be back.

The staff were great. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very helpful and always welcoming and greeting you with a friendly Kia orana which was appreciated. They cleaned our room well. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed but overall like the property itself it was dated and tired and needs refurbishment. The sun chairs on the deck were worn. The main dining area is a picturesque setting looking directly into the lagoon thriving with fish, but the windows need a good clean. It was disappointing to see accumulated dirt and cobwebs on the framework at the end of the deck spoiling such a beautiful setting. Stopping the birds from eating from the buffet also needs attention. The restaurant in the adults only area was a more pleasant dining experience. There were plenty of activities and things to do for kids and adults, A good family destination.
