On an idyllic farm in Isfjorden, you can experience authentic Norwegian farm life in a fire house from the 1860s. A unique combination of historic surroundings and stunning views of lush fields, the river and majestic mountains await you.
Inside, the fireplace offers a rustic atmosphere with an original fireplace as the centerpiece of the living room on the first floor. Those who rent the fireplace have the house to themselves. On the second floor, you'll also find a bedroom and toilet room, which is a Cinderella toilet. Although the house does not have running water, you have access to a shower and washing machine in the main house.
The fireplace has electric heating, but no running water. Next to the fireplace is the living quarters and in the basement guests can shower, wash clothes and get hot and cold water. The door to the basement is open between 08:00 and 23:00.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare simple meals. Cutlery, ashtrays, cups and tubs and some kitchen utensils. Cooker with 2 plates and oven, kettle, coffee maker and refrigerator.
The large garden is a little paradise with 15 fruit trees and several berry bushes. Here you can enjoy meals at the stone table, relax in the hammock and pick fresh fruit straight from the trees
From the farm, it's a short distance to spectacular nature experiences. Take the gondola to Nesaksla for an unforgettable view, explore the famous Romsdalseggen mountain, or take an hour-long hike to the farm's private seats. For a local dining experience, a trip to the charming café Bondepikene in the village, or Sødahlhuset in Åndalsnes is recommended
Parking space a few meters from the house you will be staying in.
