This is a hotel in a small community on the costal estuary. Not a 5 star Marriott, but you wouldn’t want one in this quaint town.

Convenient for The Ratty!

A quirky place to stay but ideal for access to the Ravenglass railway. Park at the hotel and a 2 minute walk to the train.. Pub with good restaurant 1 minute walk away. Great breakfast at the nearby hotel. Tiny village but great views

Spot of serenity

Room was huge and had the most amazing view. Although the sofa was comfy my favourite spot was sitting on the window seat. Had a lovely meal in the main hotel and breakfast was good too.

Stay as really good , was a bit anxious as we climbed the old stone stairs to the room but openend the door and the room was better than I could have expected , it had an amazing view from the window . Downstairs was a lovely pub that served some excellent food

I was staying for two nights with my dog Rupert and we will definitely be returning. Check in to collect my keys at the Pennington hotel was smooth and effortless. The room was perfect and really clean upon arrival, beautiful location! I booked in for breakfast at the Pennington hotel which was delicious and very accommodating for Rupert- he even got his own breakfast sausage! I went to the bar at the Inn on the Saturday evening for food and a few pints and the food was exceptional, the bar staff was very helpful and it was dog friendly. The Inn’s bar was buzzing with people it was such a great atmosphere. Stunning location to stay for near by walks and a two minute walk to the river glass railway station for a day trip to dalegarth for an adventure.

The property was well located right on the front in the village and the view was fantastic as was the peace and quiet. There was plenty of room with a big bed, which although a little firm for us was still very nice. The bathroom was huge with a free standing bath and the sitting area had a really comfy sofa, fridge and dining table. The village itself has two places to eat and the food was really good.
