LOCATION

We are just far enough away from the crowds, located over the border into the quieter Herzegovina region of BOSNIA. (New faster border channels were completed in December 2019).

Villa Anna is just a 7 minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Srebreno and Milini and the fabulous jewel of the Adriatic, the city of Dubrovnik. The historic city dates back to the 7th Century with its prominent surrounding walls being a highlight for visitors. The walls have been a popular filming location for the fictional city of “King’s Landing” in the television series, “Game of Thrones”.

Our local, 13th century, walled town of Trebinje is a historic delight to explore. The piazzas and cafe bars nestled under the great “Platani” trees are a great place to people watch and enjoy a coffee or ice cream.

There is a newly opened Water Park and in the evening “Vukoje” winery, with a rooftop terrace and restaurant offers diners great views over the town and river Trebisnjica. The town has something for everyone.

Further afield in Bosnia, Mostar and Kravice waterfalls are a fun day out or why not travel further afield to the Fjords of Kotor in Montenegro.

Due to our location and no public transport, car rental is essential.

THE SPACE

Villa Anna is a part of the small family resort and proudly commands views over the mountains and the valley to the Adriatic Sea. It provides a quiet and comfortable ambience for those who seek some quality time with friends and family. It sleeps up to 6.

Accommodation offered at this villa is divided between two floors and comprises three superbly appointed, luxurious bedrooms, each one designed in a contemporary style. The Twin bedded room has patio doors opening onto the balcony. All rooms have en suite bathrooms that are finished with marble tiles and high quality fittings and "his and hers sinks", along with fitted wardrobes and a wall mounted TV.

On the ground floor you’ll find a sumptuous comfortable lounge with Italian leather sofas. Floor-to-ceiling patio doors allow you to enjoy our stunning panorama from the lounge, stretching over the pool, mountains and valleys all the way to the coast.

Beautifully designed in a modern and minimalist style, with satellite TV, DVD player, air-conditioning and internet access throughout, a magical place where you can do nothing but relax!

Open plan to the lounge is a fully fitted kitchen with breakfast/cocktail bar. Complete with fridge/freezer (with water & ice dispenser), microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. Adjoining is a stylish dining area with dramatic modern chandeliers and table that comfortably seats eight for dinner.

The outside space has been landscaped with great attention to detail, precisely planted and with infinity pool & Jet pool designed to melt into the distant waters of the Adriatic Sea. Sun loungers and daybeds are thoughtfully placed to enjoy both sun and shade and there’s a wonderful veranda where you can dine alfresco on barbecued steaks. There is also a WC and shower by the pool and a separate laundry room.

Pool/Jet pool heating is included in the cooler months but in July and August it can be offered at £15 per day. Please note the pool will not be filled from the end of November until beginning of April, as it is not possible to heat in the winter months unless requested.

Ideally located just 4 km away from the nearest beaches and restaurants, 6 km from Dubrovnik Old Town and 14 km from the airport.

Please note Villa Anna is part of an ongoing building development, light work may be undertaken on properties in the vicinity.

GUEST ACCESS

The manager will be there to meet and greet you. However, for the late arrivals, a key safe is available, with code and contact numbers given after booking.

We have also designed a brochure that is updated annually, tantalizing you with ideas of places to visit, complete with maps and directions! Places that are a bit off the beaten track and that the regular tourist won’t know about. We have ideas and tips for excursions, beaches and restaurants and sporting activities that have been recommended by the owner or previous guests. Ideal pool-side reading!

The owner will not be on the premises whilst guests are staying but there will be a property manager to meet and greet you and answer any enquiries.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

All linen is included.

Bedding and towels changed on request or after a 1 week stay.

Bathroom and pool towels are provided but NOT beach towels.

Price includes service/cleaning charge. Plus we offer a complimentary 2 hour mini housekeeping service once per week, servicing the kitchen, lounge and bathrooms.
On request we can provide an additional bed, large baby travel cot, high chair and baby car seat.

We can also offer a babysitting service, if staff is available. There is a small additional cost charged.
