「Excellent location, great service, friendly staff. The property itself is a historic building and it has been perfectly maintained. It feels like you are tracking back in time. Stay away from the Old Dominion room if you are taller than 5’8”. I also did not care much for the breakfast boxes. 」

「All staff members we encountered were extremely friendly from check in to check out. The room was clean, the bed was much more firm than what we are used to at home. The breakfast choices were great. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area. 」

「suite itself was nice & had no cleanliness issues or smell, but the hallways smelled of mildew probably from people not completely drying off from the pool and walking on the carpet in the hallway to get to their room. staff was friendly and very helpful. 」

「Clean, comfortable and quiet. Only 2 towels and 2 washcloths in the room. No hand towels. Very old, felt very dated. But overall, not bad for just a bed on our way up north. 」

「Bare bones, but perfectly adequate hotel if you just want a bed, a hot shower and a little TV (didn’t check the WIFI, but Verizon worked fine in the room anyway). Easy parking, friendly front desk person. I’d stay again. (Fridge and microwave were also handy). 」

「My sister and I rented this guest home for a getaway weekend. Mary and Jay were incredibly welcoming hosts who clearly love their animals, and are eager to share their experience with them if you are interested. Incredibly, almost all of the animals on their farm - cats, dogs, mini donkey, horses, and one of the alpacas - loved being petted. The location is beautiful, private, and peaceful. Grateful for their hospitality.」

「What a welcome sight this is the second time staying at the pond cabin. It was as though we never left. Wjat a beautiful serene place. The pond was teaming with beautiful fish of large size.we loved watching them jump. The house was spotless. The hot tub was a welcome bonus for tird old bones and the kids loved it. It made a nessary trip seam like a vacation. We had an appointment extra early in the morning and not having to strip the beds and gather the towls made departure a breeze , all we...

「We really enjoyed our stay at this location, it’s a hidden gem with beautiful countryside around it, a great host couple, and many places to explore close by. Our 4 year old daughter loved the horses, alpacas and dogs on the property. Great long weekend location outside DC. Very cozy, well maintained house.」
