We travelled up to Reading as an overnight stay after watching England at Twickenham. Checked in online, and contacted reception in advance to see if we could leave our bags in the room at 1130. Nothing was too much trouble and the room was clean and welcoming. This is the second year in a row we have stayed here, and the accommodation a breakfast was top notch. A cracking solution to avoiding London prices and the queues for trains.

Malmaison came to our rescue after we had booked into the Reading Travelodge. One look inside and we knew we had made a mistake. We booked into Malmaison and checked in less than an hour later. We were very happy. Our room was spacious, modern and clean. We received a warm welcome and had a fantastic stay while we explored reading.

Parking at station carpark through underpass expensive but secure found police patrolling. Fantastic food just be away as well as leaving space for tip on bill they also add 15% service charge ! This was removed at checkout
