Lovely location. Hotel furnished to a very high standard Great breakfast and food in the restaurant with friendly staff But my Comfy Double Room was high up in a new build at the back of the car park away from the river and was very hot and stuffy. A fan was provided but one would expect aircon.

Mid heatwave and they thoughtfully had fans running in the room before our arrival to keep the temperature down and extra water in the well stocked fridge. Slept like a baby.

It was a lovely hotel and the room was gorgeous. We enjoyed a nice drink by the river as the sun was setting and it was so picturesque. However, we stayed during 32 degree heat, and there was a fan but it was still so hot in the bedroom. The bathroom had no air conditioning and it was unbearable to use the bathroom during the heat. Apart from this, it was a lovely stay and I would stay again.

We generally had a good experience but the lack of parking spaces got things off to a bad start. We had to park 10 minutes away as the hotel car park was full due to a wedding taking place at the hotel. I would have liked to have been informed of the parking issues/wedding ahead of time so I could have considered alternative accomodation.

Beautiful cosy double room full of amenities, mini bar, fridge and Nespresso machine, and fresh milk! Lovely modern bathroom. Rooms hot in the heatwave we are experiencing but a fan was provided and I took my own. Hotel provided extra bottled cold water to help which was a nice touch. Loved the local honey given as a gift in the rooms. Had dinner and breakfast. Both very good. Lovely staff team too. Would highly recommend
