“Good”

“The room was good for a night. However the ac unit in the room was very loud and was making strange noises. Had to get up a lot to adjust to try and stop the noise. And the light from the thermostat stayed on. We had to cover it up to try and get some sleep. Not really a complainer. But hoping it gets fixed for future customers.”

“First the positives. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking was fine. I think the problem that I had with Spark is that it's listed as a Hilton facility. This raises expectations. Honestly, it's more like what you would expect from a nice Super-8 than a Hilton. The carpet and furnishings are very bare-bones. The pool is tiny. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. With the exception of two of the staff, most of the staff were just barely cordial. The rooms……

“The air conditioner was terrible, we ended up having to buy our own fan. It was dirty, air conditioning units piled up outside our room. Very muggy inside the building.”

The parking lot was littered with trash and food, to the point that one evening it was so dark that I stepped in a pile of fire ants as I was getting out of my car and was bitten all over my feet. When I went to look in the morning, there were chicken bones all over the ground around the car that must have attracted them. The room was so damp and moist, that the carpeting was gross to walk on barefoot. The room smelled of that damp, mildew smell the……

“It was strange to check in via a zoom encounter. Easy check in check out. Room was clean. Breakfast wasn't what I expected, the scrambled eggs looked fine but the sausage looked unappetizing. I”
