"A cozy and clean place to stay. The kitchen is fully equipped. The only thing needs their attention is that we noticed some strains on the stove surface. Otherwise, everything is great. Judy's instruction is very informative and easy to follow. Great location. Very convenient to ferry station and parks. We love this place very much and will highly recommend it to our friends. "We stayed in the #12 cottage, which was the same price or less as most hotels in the area . This cottage is pretty small and not as updated as the other cottages, but it was just fine for our needs. I think the biggest issue is that some windows don't open and the bedroom windows hinge open from the bottom and can't be held open (they would need a hook in the ceiling to hold them. I put a shoe in the frame to let some air in. I'm a fresh air person and love the cool air from the lake). One of the bedrooms does have a smaller window on the side that opens. The best thing about the resort is the ease of communication with the owners, who answered several questions by text ahead of time, and to check in you just walk into the cottage and text them that you're there. The cabin came with a container of local ice cream, and the kitchen was well-appointed with old-school tile decor. There's water access where you can swim or launch a canoe or kayak. There's also a grill, fire pit and picnic table in the front. They don't require a 2-night stay so it's a good option either for a longer vacation or a stop-in like we did."

"This is a cute little efficiency condo—nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. I especially loved the location: close to town, yet tucked away in a quiet wooded area, far from the noise and traffic.I only have two minor criticisms, neither of which significantly impacted our stay. First, the window air conditioner seemed either inadequate or not functioning properly, as it didn't cool the room very well. Fortunately, opening the windows provided enough fresh air to make the evening comfortable. Second, parking is quite limited. Because two guests had taken up multiple parking spaces, we ended up parking on the lawn. It wasn't a major inconvenience, but it was a bit frustrating.Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Unfortunately, our visit was very brief—we arrived around 8:00 p.m. and left by 7:30 a.m.—so we didn't have much opportunity to fully enjoy the property. We'd love to come back for a longer stay, perhaps for a few days in the fall when we can relax and explore the area at a slower pace. Try it ... You'll like it!"
