Red Light District Holidays

We really enjoyed our stay at Habyt Chinatown. The location is unbeatable, right in the center of Smith St by the street vendors, minutes walk from three different hawkers and multiple MRT entrances-- you are right in the action. Close to everything! The AC is very strong and was an icy reprieve from the heat outside. We didn't interact with any staff in person, but they were very responsive through whatsapp and when we needed an extra room cleaning beyond the scheduled, they came through quickly and easily. The room was as expected based on the pictures. Our room did not have windows to the outside streets, which was a bummer but also made it very quiet. Our room and one other room shared a locked shared area with a laundry machine, sink, cooking devices, and a fridge. We really appreciated the free laundry facilities and used them. The only thing that was strange was our bathroom was open air, which we didn't know beforehand. We saw the connecting room and it did not have an open air toilet, so I guess not all of them are like that. There was no AC in there, but a few bricks had "windows" in them but there was no glass. The bathroom was quite hot. We worried about bugs and people seeing in, but there were none and it was still very private. The bathroom also dried very well despite being open. I only wish we knew about this factor before we booked/visited, though I would still stay here again.

A beautiful little hotel in an amazing area. Staff were off site but very helpful. No issues at all during the stay. We booked a small room which was fine for 2 people.

The location is great, close to Chinatown and MRT stations, a grocery store, and restaurants. We booked a "small room", and as advertised, it is small, but no complaints, as the room was like the photos, with a nice feature wall, and a private bathroom. Where this hotel stands out is the shared areas and the free coffee/tea - i.e., the large co-working area, the shared kitchen (with 24/7 access to coffee or tea), the wellness studio, the laundry room, and many areas inside and outside to sit and hang out. Staff are also very friendly and helpful with any requests or inquiries - i.e., our bathroom door wasn't closing, and they had someone come to fix it the same day. I would recommend for a short stay in Signapore, but especially for longer stays, as access to the shared spaces makes this hotel ideal/comfortable for longer stays.

We spent one night at this big, busy, centrally located hotel. Room was stylish and comfortable, but the glass wall on the bathroom was a little odd. We easily stored our bags (with many others) on the day we left. We decided against the pricey hotel breakfast, but found the neighborhood choices early in the morning were limited.

Nice hotel, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Friendly staff and average buffet breakfast.
