“The staff at the hotel were a joy, nothing was too much trouble and always professional with a smile. I only had breakfast 1 morning but there was a good choice and service with a smile. The beds at the hotel were comfortable and towels plentiful and thick. ”

“This is our third stay at the Imperial and it won't be our last! Very homely, friendly - nothing too much trouble. We always have a superior double with sea view - the views are fantastic. Situated on the esplanade opposite the sea, behind hotel is the park and access to the town or take a leisurely stroll along the esplanade towards the point! Lovely! The food is good here. Buffet breakfast - everything you could wish for. Evening meal is choice of 3 or 4 starters, mains and choice of three……

“Very dated property, had some touches to update patches of paint etc, but stood out a mile! Bath hadn’t been cleaned so i wouldn’t shower as you could see difference of clean and dirty! Could hear every conversation in the corridor and the room above/beside! Cups dirty, I had to wash them before we could use, no tea bags or milk, had to ask. No lamp shade and curtains very thin, 4 am awake with light into the room! Check in quick young man on reception helpful, room was ok for the price we……
