Hotel was an interesting departure from recognized chains. Pretty location, and fascinating historical inn. It is basic, but has a charm of its own and was quiet. It could use some maintenance, but the room was clean and the staff were lovely. I would definitely stay there again.

It’s an old hotel from 1928 with a lot of history. If you’re interested in staying at a museum then this is the place for you, but be aware of the fact that this place is in much need for renovation, I’m informed may happen this winter.

I liked the heritage nature of the RR Inn, a home for the Veterans Guard. The beds were only small doubles, the overhead fan was noisy, and the desk lamp was broken.

If you want to enter a part of history this is the place to stay. Building is old and very well kept. When you walk through the door it’s a feeling of walking into the past. Staff are wonderful. Rooms very clean.

A great stop driving along the North shore of lake Superior. A quaint little town with gorgeous views. The hotel itself is dated and in need of repairs. The room itself is very clean and the bathroom was very clean. Staff were very friendly. The breakfast is very simple.

Olden days charm. We loved having a (gas) fireplace and comfy armchairs in our room. Red Rock Inn is under new ownership/ management, and they are in the process of upgrading and refurbishing the whole Inn We would certainly return! It is certainly a great place for families as well.

Great for nostalgia buffs but needs updating without losing historical feel. Needs new carpet, and mattresses. Room and bathroom were clean just need room chair upholstery cleaned and hall carpets. Breakfast was nice and staff very friendly. Outside needs paint and upgrading as well and windows fixed to open. Only restaurants are 15 mins away.
