“This place was adorable. It was very vintage and a nice break away from “modern” hotel feel. Loved everything about it, my boyfriend and I are already planning our next stay here! ”

“Traveling to Salem on the off-season was a great experience for this hotel. There was plenty of parking, even though the parking in the back was small. The hotel itself is clean and beautifully decorated. The concierge was easy to get a hold of through text messaging. I like the digital check in and check out.”

“My only complaint would be how hot/stuffy our hotel room was. We also couldn’t adjust our thermostat at all.”

“Property shouldn’t be charging guests I was told the day prior to my reservation that it was being renovated and pool, breakfast and the lobby would be usable. We were given coffee and juice and microwave breakfast sandwiches to eat in our room. My TV didn’t work the whole time and when i asked about it, i was told they would fix it and it was never fixed. I can’t say this was enjoyable this time and really wish i could have taken advantage of the things that I thought i’d be getting when I……

“First time visiting Salem & the Salem Inn did not disappoint! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! It’s so cozy & cute & in a PERFECT location! All of the major sights to see are in a walkable distance as well as the train station if you need to go into to Boston. Another major plus was the breakfast included! Very delicious and the inn keeper could not have been any sweeter! We would definitely stay again in a heartbeat!”

“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”

“The hotel itself was wonderful, but there is no parking available. Also, if you've never been to Salem before, this hotel is on the section of Essex St that is a pedestrian walkway ( hence no cars allowed) otherwise great hotel!”
