"Staff was very courteous."

"We checked out after 5 mins of checking in. There were roaches in our room, along with mold, dirty used sheets, and bad odors (just to name a Few things). Unsafe for families. Lots of prostitution going on as well as drug use/sales going on. 2nd floor is so unsafe and should be condemned floors are sagging and the walkway to the rooms are sloping and damn near falling down. "

"A lot of spiders, cockroaches and bugs. No hot water, bed sheets and blankets were dirty and had cigarette burns in them, and the towels smelled funny. Not staying here again."

"The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. There was visible hair in the bathtub, grime and debris along baseboards and surfaces, and one of the towels provided had visible staining and did not appear clean. I also observed multiple insects in the room, including in the bathroom. More concerning, the room door did not function properly. I had difficulty entering and exiting the room, and one of the locks was not working. I had to rely on staff assistance to access the room, which raised safety concerns. Additionally, there were several maintenance issues. The bathroom door was damaged with a large, poorly patched hole and visible grime, and when using the shower, water leaked behind the toilet. These conditions indicate that the room was not properly maintained. After my stay, I noticed a prior review referencing the same room (room 221) describing similar maintenance issues, which makes it concerning that these problems appear to be ongoing and were not addressed before my stay."

"The hotel was old and dated. Rusty refrigerator, had to ask for a blow dryer, no coffee maker in room, dirty grout in bathroom. "

"Room and breakfast was a 4. Hair dryer was broke. I had a handicap room but it was a step over side tub . Toilet was low Over all nice visit, I would stay again "

"This was my highlight of my 14 day road trip.The home and setting was amazing. Perfect location and the hosts Charlie and Rob were like life time friends, who we just met. If your in the Charleston area this is a must stay."

"Clean, convenient, staff friendly, comfortable. Public areas dark and outdated. Nothing lights and paint/carpet couldn’t fix. Room very nice, comfortable, quiet. TV outdated. No streaming, remote so worn couldn’t tell function on buttons. Overall, lower end 3 star at upper end 3 star price. "

"Staff was super friendly. Had issues with remote control for TV. Went through 3 different remotes before getting one that actually worked. Room was clean, but it needed some TLC. Wallpaper was peeling off the bathroom walls. Breakfast is free but the options weren’t great. The jalapeño and cheese egg souflee was gross. "
