「Right in the heart of downtown Grand Junction within walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants. Try Cruise Control a couple blocks from hotel for great beer, cocktails and food. Hotel Melrose has been beautifully restored— Lovely sitting area, backyard patio, and a great lounge. We will definitely stay again.」

「This is an older, well-kept and maintained property. Looked as if it had been recently repainted. My bathroom and shower were impeccably clean and everything worked. Remember, this is a Best Western just off a major interstate, so it's not the Ritz-Carlton, but the bed was comfortable, bedding was clean and nice pillows, TV works, etc. No complaints about the room. The courtyard is also well kept and the landscaping was surprisingly attractive. Breakfast had a wide variety of options - cereal,...

「This was a nice stay. The bartender was helpful and the food in Tapestry was tasty. Front desk staff at checkout were friendly. The spa was not as hot as we like and would have preferred it to have been adults only as kids were playing in it.」

「Property was clean and staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good and really liked the ground floor and be able to walk out the patio door to your vehicle. Price was rather high, but cheaper than most in these days of inflation.」

「The bathroom sink plugged up and stank. Shower pressure was horrible. The girl at the front desk and the young man that she brought with her to unplug the sink were both polite and helpful. When we were leaving the next morning, we passed by 3 or 4 employees and not one of them even looked at us or acknowledged us, let alone a thank you or have a nice day. Do not recommend.」
