Chateau On The Lake Resort Spa and Convention Center

"Rented the Presidential Suite since it was claimed as the best room in Branson. No its not. I've stayed at much nicer places for half the $$. Yes, in Branson. I understand they were going for a Tuscan romantic vibe. The furniture was old, the bed looked like a haystack stuffed in a sack. The saving grace was the ornate bathroom, which was very luxurious. The multi head shower did not work. The view from the tenth floor looking over table rock lake was very nice. There was not a full kitchenette with supplies. The room was dusty, the furniture scratched. Not worth the price paid. The last condo type room I stayed in at Branson had fireplaces, in both the living room and the bedroom. Jetted tub, king size pillow top mattress, immaculately clean, fully stocked with kitchen utensils. Including glassware wine glasses plates silverware. Pots and pans et cetera.. i forget the name of the place I stayed but it was over by the fall creek area. Unless their price comes down to $250 or less, and i'm thinking, like Orlando FL prices, I can get the same type of room for 150 and less. Do not listen to the hype. You can do much better elsewhere. The hotel was fairly empty however they put us in a room right next to some very noisy neighbors who were apparently upset the electric went out during our stay. Why they could not have spaced us out I do not understand."

"The room was very spacious and had a refrigerator, microwave and nice bathroom area. There were only 2 things we did not really like(which are small). The tv was not very loud and the room was very humid. When we would come in from the day, the room was very wet and sticky feeling. The sheets would be damp and our clothes would feel wet in the morning. But other than that, it was a pretty nice stay."

"It is an older facility they are trying to keep up. Our room was a handicapped roll in shower room. They had made over the bathroom but should have put an additional floor drain in outside of the actual shower, and a longer tube on the hand-held shower head, as well as a holder closer to the height of the horizontal grab bar for it. Staff were friendly and handled our issues quickly and with a smile. The breakfast was okay we only got there a couple of times during our stay. It was the basics - scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, 1 waffle maker, cereal, juice, milk, canned fruit mixed together in a bowl in the fridge, bread, bagels, English muffins 1 - 4 slice toaster."

"Had activities throughout the day. Granddaughter loved the Karaoke. Shuttle service to SDC wasn’t very good. On a Saturday evening sent a text saying they were shutting down service at 4:00pm the park didn’t close until 7:00pm so that was disappointing. Had to make other arrangements for being picked up."
