"There is no other place we would stay when visiting Weaverville. Have stayed at Rabbit Hollow numerous times, and consider it our home away from home. It's cozy, clean, and Ray & Vikki are the best hosts. Highly recommend!"

Secluded Six Bedroom Chestnut Lodge, walk to Downtown Weaverville

"We recently spent 4 nights at Chestnut Lodge in Weaverville, NC. We were 8 people and the house was spacious. 3 bedrooms on each floor, the layout was great for us. The location was perfect, about 30 minutes from AVL airport, less than 20 minutes to down town Asheville, and walking distance into Weaverville, although up a very steep hill. It was also less than a 10 minute drive to Publix and Ingles supermarkets.Our hosts were very responsive any time we reached out and were very accommodating and flexible regarding check in time, which was greatly appreciated.The house was very clean and well stocked with the basics. We enjoyed the ping pong table very much and took advantage of the great fire pit outside.The only issue we had was the number of carpenter bees on the outdoor deck. The deck was beautiful and we would have liked to spend more time out there. We had no concerns about getting stung, carpenter bees don't bother you. However, they were boring holes in the wood of the cabin and there was a constant amount of sawdust falling from above that landed on our clothes.Even with that, we loved our time at Chestnut Lodge and would definitely stay there again in the future. I highly recommend Chestnut Lodge to all."

"The 11th floor/Club level is where it’s at, folks. The lounge serves food twice a day and free beverages during happy hour and also accommodated me for a mimosa or two in the morning😉. It has fabulous large rooms with nice bathrooms, featuring many shower heads and a jacuzzi tub for two and to me, the included valet is worth it. And if you make a spa reservation, check in early and enjoy it all day. It’s one of the best spas I’ve ever been to in my life and one of the highest rated (and I have become quite the spa snob.) We had the best mini moon there! The staff was so professional and really accommodating to us. This is more than made up for the first trip we had there where they canceled our spa reso last min."

"Eveything about our stay in this house was perfect. Very clean and well stocked. Not far from downtown Asheville, so perfect location. Weaverville had a few breweries (Salt face mule) and decnt restaurants as well. Very private. Perfect getaway house. "

"The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and fit our needs perfectly. The owner was very communicative and accommodating of our last-minute early check-in request when the airline moved our flight up. The only reason for 4 stars is that the grill and picnic table in the porch were in disrepair and unusable, but they could be easily replaced."
