Sitting on the upper enjoying a beer / cider watching all of the activity on the river was amazing. Being close to the Town center was also a big plus.

Overall, the accommodation was excellent value for money. The features that disappointed us were the size of the en suite and the narrowness of the stairs to the upper deck. But, being a converted paddle steamer, there is probably little that can be done about these.

Our second stay on the Princess, love it. Fabulous location in the centre of tow, and close to all facilities. The boat is such a magnificent part of our river history.

We enjoyed the unique accommodation. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. TV was massive. Bathroom was good except for toilet paper issue with flushing. We loved waking up on the river it was beautiful and peaceful. Staff/owner who checked us in could have been friendlier, didn't really talk to us at all. It was all about taking the money, giving us the key and pointing where to go. Perhaps they could offer to help with luggage as its a bit dicey with the narrow ladder going down to the lower deck. Had a great sleep.

Lovely boat accommodation on the water but in great need of repair. They did not have an alcohol license despite advertising happy hour and long wine lists in their restaurant. So both bars were closed. The food in the restaurant was of poor quality, however the staff were very obliging.

Very peaceful and calming overnight stay

Only an overnight stay but a great experience. Room was large, clean, comfortable and very peaceful. I had a river-side cabin and the view from the deck was just amazing. Loved the pelicans floating by. Tea and coffee provided, as well as a hairdryer. I slept incredibly well. I would definitely recommend staying on the Murray River Queen, and hopefully will be passing through that way again for a longer stay.

Lovely spacious room. I thought I must have been upgraded from a standard room but it was a standard room. Friendly, helpful staff. Enjoyable dinner, quick attentive service. Unique experience staying on a riverboat overnight.

Great location

Lovely location. Bed was very comfortable, but did take up a lot of room so a bit squeezy to get in to it at the sides. Shower a bit cramped and low ceiling, you wouldn’t want to be 6ft tall! Could have done with a desk as I was working, but probably not enough room for it.
