"The staff was very nice and the property is near a bunch of restaurants. Keep in mind this isn’t a Hilton or the like but I was pleasantly surprised! My room was immaculate in terms of cleanliness and there were random USB A and C ports throughout the room! Like 6 of each. The ac stayed cool and while some of the fixtures were cheap, they were well maintained. Internet was slow…8mb/sec. Breakfast has eggs, sausage and potatoes plus the normal carbs."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were very happy with how clean and tidy they keep the property. The beds were very comfortable! We hope to stay longer for another stay so that we can explore the area more as it is very walkable to the waterfront and downtown area."

"My wife and I stayed for 3 days and loved it. We were there for our anniversary, and Brandon and his wife surprised us with a bottle of wine and card which was totally unexpected. Everything was as advertised and then some. They’ve thought of everything and there’s plenty of space for a couple or the entire family. We didn’t use everything available but it’s all convenient and easy to get to. The arcade in the bunk room was awesome as it has several of our childhood games on it. The kitchen was well equipment and worked perfect for us. Checkout was the easiest experience in any Vrbo we’ve been in. Brandon was very responsive for any question I had. We would love to go back and take our family with us!"

"Bathroom was immaculately clean for a cabin. They do not provide blankets, sheets, and pillows so bring your own! The pool was crystal clear and the perfect temperature. Staff are very helpful and super friendly. The pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable. The cabin came with a TV which was nice. Will definitely be back next time I’m in that part of NC. "

"This property has an excellent view of the Pamlico River, I saw numerous wildlife species- River otters, a Swan, ducks, an Osprey, Cormorants as well as deer wandering around at nights. This property is at the end of a private drive so you have drive thru traffic. The owner was very prompt and responsive withany and every inquiry before and during our stay! The owner even called and gave me his cell number. No more texting! He said just call me anytime with any questions! Who even does that anymore? Great location and a great value! Steve R,"

"The property was beautiful, relaxing and quiet. Being able to fish on a private dock, catch plenty of fish and watch the sunrise was what we were looking for. The host was very quick to respond to our needs. The house was clean and cozy. My husband and I celebrated with my sister and brother in law for our anniversaries. We all truly enjoyed from check in to check out. I will never, ever, ever stay there again for only a weekend. Next time it will be a week."
